My Three (Gay) Sons

wow, i thought this obit was very progressive for a small-town jersey paper, then i noticed that this man had not one, not two, but apparently three gay sons!

Ronald J. Raimo Sr. of Menlo Park died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 71.

Born in Bloomfield, he lived in Colonia before moving to Menlo Park two years ago. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a self-employed contractor. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Jeanette Raimo, and his sister, Lorraine Caffrey. Surviving are his sons, Ronald Jr. and his companion, Joseph Miktus, of Colonia, Rick Raimo and his companion, David Haight, of Florida, RJ Raimo and his companion, Vinny D'Amico, of Green Brook; a daughter, Robin D'Amore and her husband, Philip, of New Brunswick; and four grandchildren, Drew, Matthew, Christopher and Justin D'Amore.

Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. A blessing will be offered on Friday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at Gosselin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.

Oh, I thought this was a sitcom. Actually, not a bad idea if you think about it . Who would star in it?
