Hey, guys - I just found out the my movie is a featured selection in the Temecula Valley International Film Festival, so I thought I'd let y'all know about it, in case you were in the area and felt like going.
A COUPLE OF DAYS AND NIGHTS will be screening:
Thursday, Sept. 14, 9PM. Theater 3
Saturday, Sept, 16m, 5PM, Theater 5
Directions to Temecula:
From Los Angeles, take the 10 East or the 91 East, or
60 East to the 1-15 South. Go for 80 miles on the
I-15 South. Your exit is Rancho California Rd. Go
east on Rancho California Rd. to Ynez Rd. Go left on
Ynez Rd. to the first stop light. Go left to the
Tower Plaza Shopping center. The Movie Experience
Theaters are on the South side of the shopping center,
across from the Tower Building. The Hospitality Suite
is right behind Starbucks.
Theater Venue: The Movie Experience @ Tower Plaza,
27531 Ynez Road, Temecula, Ca 92591
FYI, I am one of the four leads in the film, but the press release that went out (ages ago) didn't reflect that, and no-one ever bothered to fix it, so neither my friend Joe Peracchio (also one of the leads in the film) nor I ever get mentioned in the cast lists in any articles, or the festival programs, etc. Oh, well, such is life.

EDIT: I'm trying to consolidate the three threads I had going into one convenient thread (hehe), so please go here to continue posting:

Hopefully, the other two threads will die nice, natural deaths. Thanks!

I'll look for it Erika.
Do you know if it will eventually be on HBO?
I have about five HBOs (free in my apt. building).
Congratulations beautiful!

We MIGHT be able to make it down for a showing. Are you going to any? There's some decent wineries down there, as well!
Hmmm - a Saturday drive down south a bit - could be a possibility...
That is of course if my ass does not get any fatter and I can still fit it into the driver's seat of my Solara ...
(Only half joking there as well)
But maybe I could make Saturday's screening.

YWIW - you have GOT to stop talking about yourself like that - especially when it's NOT TRUE! Don't believe her folks - she keeps a fun-house mirror in her house.
And we could try the Saturday one, but we leave the next day for vacation, so that might make it a little tight - but I do prefer the earlier showing.
Back On Topic -
Perhaps a mini LA/OC BWW trip to T-town is in order.
In other words . . .
Go Erika, Go Erika, Go Erika, Go Erika!

Hi again, guys - and thanks again for all the good wishes!
Yeah, I was thinking of going to the Saturday one, myself. It might be fun to make a day of it!

If that became a mini-gathering, we would really try for the Saturday one. And, again, there are supposed to be some nice little wineries there with good tasting rooms - not that we should get crocked before the movie, though!

Congrats Erika, its a bit of a drive from Brooklyn but will be on the lookout.

wexy: Awwww, I know. I wish the movie would screen back East!
Maybe someday soon.
YWIW and DG: So? Whaddya think? Wanna try for that? A "mini-gathering?" See if any other SoCal folks want to join?

I can certainly pencil it in - but I can't commit for sure until we get back from Colorado the Monday of that week.
You know, Elph could just trot down the 215 to Temecula - we need to make sure he knows about this possibility.

A SoCal mini-gathering in honor of Erika! Sounds like a blast. I just checked my schedule and actually am scheduled to work that Saturday. If I leave right after work on Thursday I might be able to make that screening. Long drive though. Will you be there both nights, E?
