Okay, I'll start off by saying that I love insects. I even work at the insect zoo at a natural history museum. Normally, if I see a spider or a cricket or something, I just scoop it up in my hands and take it outside.

But... yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit that kill flies and mosquitos. I'm pretty good at grabbing them out of the air like Barack Obama, too...

This former friend of mine, who I mentioned in my first post, would be very mad at all of us. She is against killing animals so much that she refuses to get her drivers license because it kills bugs. And of course, the average person knows how diseased some of these insects are.

Oh, and she also flipped out about a fly problem in the shelter I volunteer at. She doesn't, but just is on the email list. The vetrinarian we work with gave suggestions on what to do to get them to go away and how we had fly traps outside, and this girl got so mad at the suggestions of killing them.

I have no idea. I stopped talking to her on a regular basis, and it is a good thing. This girl would probably be better off living naked in the woods, but then she can't because she's against nudity.

You and me both! One time I spotted a GIGANTIC roach/beetle thing crawling up the curtains in our living room. I ran and got the broom and proceeded to smack it down. It was still fluttering around even after I hit it a few times!

My mother absolutely refuses to pick up dead bugs, even with a bunch of paper towels. Instead she gets the portable vacuum and sucks em up.

Marianne's friend sounds like one of those people who are just against, you know, stuff. They are to be avoided at all costs.

Of course, if you can't avoid them, I say smash them and flush them down the toilet.

ACK! Those are the WORST!! I grew up in a pine forest near Houston and they were unavoidable. Every time I walked up to one to try and kill it (hoping it wouldn't make that sickening POP sound when you step on them), it would suddenly fly and land on me and start running around. EEEEEEE!!!!

Right now, I get these weird little moths. They are like a cross between a small moth and a termite, but they appear to be neither. I have no idea what they are, but they annoy the hell out of me and they are very hard to catch and flit off into hiding in a split second.

YEEEEEEESSS!!!

I have embarrassed myself on many occasions due to roaches. One time, I was called in to be "the man" and kill this roach. I hit it with my shoe and it fell to the ground and when I went to grab it with some toilet paper, it jumped up and ran and I screamed like a 10 year old girl at a Miley Cyrus concert. I even did the whole "Wave your arms while you jump" thing.
