She is wretched and the producers of The Today Show should be fired for allowing such an untalented, stupid shrill on their show! She was awful!

Saw the end of it with Hoda and Kathie Lee. She does her usual shtick, the Linda Blair eyes, the sort of mean-version-of Paula Prentiss swallow on the ends of words. She is, as ever, baldly calculated and non-stop self-parody.
But what's new and different is how little she has to actually cling to. With people losing jobs and homes, her ideological rant is toothless; the country has so moved on past her Rovian ravage revenge tactics. I actually had to hand it to Gifford, who said something like, "but what about pulling people together, rather than separating them?" And "Isn't the goal to convert people to your cause?" Coulter just has her standard comeback, about how she's contributing to the "dialogue."
But you can see that she must strain more than ever. How it shows. And dissing single women as the root of all evil is actually so been-there/done that -- she herself invoked the Quale/Murphy Brown brouhaha, unaware that she basically screamed "hear how unoriginal my thesis is, folks!"
And for an "intellectual" as she dubs herself, she's forever mired in the sort of single-focus explanation for things than anyone who's had soc 101 would shout down as oversimplifying. Yeah, let's get every single woman with a kid to just marry somebody, and everything will be swell. After all, there's nothing like divorce (52% currently) to have any impact.

I've come to the conclusion I don't care if it's schtick or if it's real - Ann Coulter is such a repugnant being that she brings out every bit of latent misogyny in me.
The thing about her is that it's easy to dismiss it all as a joke or that she's a joke or whatever, but what I think is most insidious about her is because SHE goes out all balls out batsh*t crazy she makes the people out there who hold similar beliefs seem practically respectable by default.

Ann plays the media like a harmonica. Her appearance got her attention for being canceled, then she got to go whine about it on other shows, then she got to go on Today and get higher rating cause everyone wants to see "What happens when Ann & Matt go toe-to-toe!"
Meanwhile, she apparently devotes a lot of attention to...The Swift Boaters? Seriously. Who cares?
