NCSA high school
NCSA high school#1
Posted: 7/23/07 at 9:12pmSorry to make a whole thread just for this, but is anyone here going to NCSA next year for high school? Or, have friends who are? I'd like to meet some people before I get there...thanks!

Posted: 7/27/07 at 8:09pmFor drama? I was in the program a few years ago. Graduated in 2006. I'm very jealous that you're going because I miss it like crazy. If you have any questions or anything, just pop me a PM. I'd be glad to give you all the secrets before you start :) Also, I'm taking a semester off, so it's likely that I'm going to pop into a class or 2 at some point.

Haha that's great. I'm easily stalked through Landon. He's a nut and I love him.
Bob didn't actually leave...he just went into a sort of pseudo-retirement. He still teaches (or at least he did last year) improv once or twice a week. And I think he still drags the class to poetry slams and the arts-based elementary schools in Winston. It's actually a lot of fun. He just doesn't run the program anymore, which is probably a good thing. He's getting on up there. My class was his last as the head of hs drama, and we didn't do as well as most classes in Chicago at college auditions...a lot of us were stuck taking a gap year or finding our own other ways. It was stressful.

I go to NCSA's college program, I am about to go into my Junior year. But I love going to see all the high school's stuff during intensive arts and year end stuff.
I think Kelly Maxner is gonna be really great for the program.
Hope that you have alot of fun.
