Bob didn't actually
leave...he just went into a sort of pseudo-retirement. He still teaches (or at least he did last year) improv once or twice a week. And I think he still drags the class to poetry slams and the arts-based elementary schools in Winston. It's actually a lot of fun. He just doesn't run the program anymore, which is probably a good thing. He's getting on up there. My class was his last as the head of hs drama, and we didn't do as well as most classes in Chicago at college auditions...a lot of us were stuck taking a gap year or finding our own other ways. It was stressful.
I can't talk now. I gotta go get my wallet out of the toaster.
