EXACTLY. And beware a little more when they're posted in a thread about The Exorcist! lol I'm no fool.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
LOL Good thing I didn't click them, I was JUST about to.
Thanks Cara!
LOL..no problem babe. I'm scarred for life now but as long as the rest of you don't have to experience it, it's all good! Updated On: 8/13/04 at 11:35 PM

"Why am I trying so hard? These are the people who cast Linda Blair in a musical..."
Actually, she worked her butt off with dance and voice lessons and was quite a good Rizzo.

I love Linda Blair and think she deserves more respect. However, I have not heard her sing.
She has a really nice voice. Take that multi-layered speaking voice, train it and add some vibrato. Lovely. I enjoyed her singing a lot.
did anyone just watch the "curse of the excorsist" thing on E! ? Updated On: 8/21/04 at 01:36 AM

Oh, the Curse of the Exorcist, the E True Hollywood Story? I meant to watch it tonight, but forgot it was on (I was out anyway). Tis a good thing though, I probably would have just scared myself lol

it wasn't too scary. in fact, it was pretty obvious to me that a lot of it was hype created by the studio to create buzz about the new movie.

Final day to enter:
GROWING UP GOTTI & MODERN MARVELS

Isnt today the day for when we find out who wins the cd prize pack? I wanna see if i won *prays*.
Didn't the United States try to invade the British colonies (later forming Canada) first? That's what I learned in Canadian History class. But the invasion failed (although the Americans did manage to burn down a lot of York, later known as Toronto), and later the British forces went to burn down Washington? Isn't this television programme another attempt to skew history to the side of American patriotism?
Yes BlueWizard I had this same "discussion" w a bunch a Yankee's b4! Funny about how flexible the word "invasion" becomes when U don't win! (lol)

You are correct BlueWizard. The US invaded British-Canada first and the British-Canadians pushed them back and burnt down the Whitehouse.
Long story short there.

haha glad to see BlueWizard and Sabrelady, my fellow Canucks, already onto this.
The thing that makes me laugh about the Canada- U.S. relationship as it stands today, is that we only had one war, back before we were even an official country, and it bascially consisted of us beating the sh*t out of our southern neighbours.
And now look who holds the upper hand. Ironic.
Funny that's what my Yankee associates said- "Shoulda lost & the you would be part of the greatest nation on earth"
The thing is- we have the same standard of living + so I've never been convinced it would have beeen to out benefit. (course SOMEbody would have access to lovely ,water ,wood, coal ,gas, oil etc....)
Oh, DEFINITELY it would not have been to our benefit.
Some more trivia about the War of 1812 (which I'm glad I'm correct about): the "White House" was actually pink (!!!) before the British-Canadian troops burned it down. They had to rebuild parts of it and repaint the building white because of the blackened walls. That's why it's called the White House.
