How much would it cost to fly from the NYC airports to Times Square? And what's a resonable tip for this?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

A cab from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan is $45. You still have to pay tolls though. I usually give them $60 for fare + tolls + tip.

There's also a bus to Grand Central (and I believe to Times Sq) if you aren't in a major hurry. Cost is roughtly 12-15 bucks

And you can take a super shuttle to a times sq. hotel. roughly the same - again - only if you're in no rush since it's a shared vehicle.

Yeah take the Super Shuttle ONLY if you have time. After they requested one for us, We waited over an hour and still nothing showed up. We got mad and irritated, So we ended up taking a cab. Should have done that in the first place. re: NYC Cab Fare - how much?

If you can afford it, I would ride a taxi. Maybe you can split the cost between other people to make it less expensive for yourself.

I suggest a bus...much cheaper. I took one from Newark to Port Authority...and just walked to the hotel.

LaGuardia was about $25 and $40 during "rush hour".
