NYC to PNC Bank Arts Center

I'm seeing No Doubt on Friday night at PNC Bank Arts Center at 7:30pm.

I need to be back in the city that evening and plan to tailgate and have a good buzz going beforehand, so I'd like to avoid having to drive.

Is there ANY public transport that goes to the venue from NYC and returns afterward? Academy has a bus line that goes there, but for whatever reason on the day of events it stops at 4pm or 4:30pm.

Any suggestions?

"Ride NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line train to the Aberdeen/Matawan station. PNC Bank Arts Center provides free shuttle bus service directly to our front gates. The shuttle bus will start running continuously two hours before show time until after the performance. The last shuttle bus leaves the PNC Bank Arts Center at 11:30 p.m. even if the performance is still in progress."

I've been googling NYC to PNC Bank Arts all day and have only yielded the Academy Bus.

Check PNC's website. Tailgating is not allowed at certain concerts due to the idjits a few years ago.

I just checked. Tailgating is not allowed at that event.

When I say tailgating, I mean that I'll probably be bringing some vino in a nalgene to the show and a sandwich for when I'm on the lawn.
