Noho Star. Yes, they're fine. As is the Temple Bar for sophisticated cocktails.

Cosi is a good suggestion. Silver Spurs is more like a diner. Lots of chinese food places in the area too, yummy house is on 3rd and 13th which is my favorite. Pizza Mercato is a popular pizzeria. Theres a Cozy Soup and Burger. The apple bar is like thai food and on the more expensive side. Caliente cab has great alcohol but not such good food. Theres a sushi place on 8th street with only a couple tables. Johnny Rockets is great for milk shakes. I havent been to BBQs in a long time so I cant say if theyre good. Um yeah, lots of stuff in the area. lol just walk around...

Yes, I had many veggie burgers with the gloppy orange dressing there in my increasingly remote youth
Mistress, you've got the best taste in food. Pizza Mercato is delicious. I suggest the barbeque chicken pizza.

Thanks Bill.
Actually one of my favorite food places in the village is pomme frite but since they ONLY serve fries, I didnt think it was worth mentioning. Its not a good idea to have it as an entire meal, though I cant say that I havent done that before.

Last time I was in NYC we ate at The Spain: it's in Union Square, 113 W. 13th St. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but the food's good. The portions are HUGE, you can share with another person and still have leftovers (we did anyway).
I like Dojo quite a bit. Also try Cosi and Spice. Oh, and Johnny Rocket's is great bc it takes campus cash. So does Uno's on third ave.
Try the Cosi hot apple cider with whipped cream. It's to die for.

Ooh, that DOES sound good! I'll have to try it (on one of my non-Atkins days!)
