Nathan and Matt at the stage door...

How are these two at the stage door? I'm seeing the show at 2:00 this coming Saturday and then I'm coming back at 11:00 to get a good spot at the barricades. How are these two with fans? I'd love to get a picture with both of them. As much I love Nathan Lane, he seems like he wouldn't be the nicest person, I dunno why I get that feeling. I've heard good things about Matthew, but what about Mr. Lane?

my sister and i saw matt a few weeks ago. he was nice and he took a picture with her and signed playbills for everyone waiting. one bad thing was it about and 1 hour after the show got out. we missed nathan cause we exactly saw millie that night and just stopped by the producers on the way home.

You "exactly" saw MILLIE that night????? What do you mean by that?

Actually, Nathan frequently leaves the theater by a alternate exit to avoid the throng.

Nathan has been leaving by the stage door, but only waves as he gets in his car and departs. Playbills signed by him have been passed out. Matthew will sign and take photos when he leaves and, yes, it might be up to an hour before he appears.

My friend and I were passing the theatre when Matthew came out - he couldn't have been nicer. Photos with anyone who wanted and signed all autographs... as did Roger Bart. We missed Nathan!

BTW - Bernadette Peters is a sweetheart! Hugh Jackman very nice too. BUT, just try and catch Idina Menzel on a Tuesday - she rushes to get home because of the next afternoon's matinee, but she was quite nice on a Friday night. She also comes out prepared with her own silver marker! Have yet to meet Kristen - after two visits!
