Need Your Help-La Vie En Rose song question....

I know there is a wealth of music knowledge among you faithful posters. A friend is looking for a version of La Vie En Rose he heard that is simply a woman who is not a great singer, fairly breathy singing with just a trumpet. It is a French version of the song.

Any ideas? He said if the Louis Armstrong and Audrey Hepburn version had a baby, it was close to that.

Any help is appreciated. I've be souring for hours and Im giving up. He thinks it sounded like an older recording.

Where did your friend hear it? Was it possibly something like a Youtube version of someone singing over the Armstrong recording?

Here's a list from Wiki of people who've covered the song, if that helps. I imagine going to the itunes store and searching for the song will bring up lots of samples to listen to as well.
