Need help with an Audition song for Legally Blonde (Emmett)

I need 16 bars of an uptempo, and 16 bars of a ballad to audition with this saturday for the role of Emmett. For my uptempo song, i'm thinking "My Next Story" from Glory days. Unfortunately I'm having a lot of trouble finding a solid ballad. Any suggestions would be wonderful!

The answer is really dependant on your range,
Though since you're going for emmet, I assume that you're a tenor.
Here are some suggestions:

Purpose - Avenue Q
They Say It's Wonderful - Annie Get Your Gun
All I Care About Is Love - Chicago
Beauty School Drop-out - Grease
Wouldn't It be Nice - The Wild Party
