I love Neko, liked kd at one time, and don't know Laura Veirs but she lives in Portlandia so she must have great taste in doughnuts. They've teamed up for an album and tour and the track they've released hits my early Roches pleasure button.

This is exciting, thanks for sharing! I'm a huge Neko Case (and New Pornographers) fan. Her last album was genius, Loved the last Pornographers release, too.
Namo, Veirs is great. Check out her song "Little Deschutes" (from the great album July Flame). It's gorgeous.

That was a little piece of heaven! Can't wait for the whole cd!
Would love to be at the Denver Botanical Gardens show. I saw Lang there. Very intimate open air in the round. E.S.T. opened for her. A fabulous evening of music under the stars!

Love it! The song immediately went into my google music library and the cd on my wishlist. The cd doesn't come out until June. Ugh! However, the release coincides with my trip to Denver where I will spend time in an old cabin in the Rocky Mountains. This WILL be playing in that cabin as I sit with friends sipping cocktails on the porch having good conversation. My friends will love this!

Up until 5 years ago when life came crashing down, I was a walking music encyclopedia. I would have known about this. So it is nice when I stumble on good new music.
