ive never done it but i know someone who swears by it!
I'm not sure but I do have netflix and it is amazing. I probably drive my family crazy by constantly messing with the queue so the next three movies are all musicals.

Do you really get it in the mail the next day? Also, if I don't cancel, how much are you charged per month?
it's great -- if I drop things in the AM mail I often have them the next day or the following at the latest

Cool, I think I'm definitely gonna try it. So is it unlimited rentals per month then?

Netflix is great. You won't be charged if you cancel your free trial - which is great on its own
. The price per month depends on how many movies you choose to take out at a time. The less movies, the lower the monthly price, and the more movies ( i think maximum 8 or 5), the higher the price.
8-at-a-time for $47.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 8 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $47.99.
7-at-a-time for $41.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 7 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $41.99.
6-at-a-time for $35.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 6 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $35.99.
5-at-a-time for $29.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 5 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $29.99.
4-at-a-time for $23.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 4 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $23.99.
3-at-a-time for $17.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 3 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $17.99.
2-at-a-time (4 rentals a month) for $11.99
Up to 4 rentals a month - up to 2 movies out at a time for a flat monthly fee of $11.99.

Hope this helps! Sorry for the long post.
it's fabulous, they have a three movie at a time plan ($17.95?) and an 8 movie at a time. I live in Palm Springs, I get mine in two days usually

Thank you JJ and all of you for your replies. I appreciate it. Now, if I understand, you can put as many as you want on your queue, right?
As many as you want on the queue, but you can only have a certain number out at a time.
I have netflix and love it.. they are usually very fast at turning them around too.. unfortunately I have had the same movies since november now, cuz I never have time to watch them
I've been doing Netflix for two or three years now. It totally rocks.
Only been doing Netflix for awhile, but my family and I really like it. Can find totally random movies you never thought you would and in my experience the movies usually come the day after they've been shipped. It's really nice.
i love netflix. as many as you want a month (if you get that plan, it's like $4 then the other one). no late fees. they come to your house. it's nice. i recommend it
I love netflix. Usually if i return them in the morning mail I will have my new movies the very next day.
I recommend it as well - it's fantastic.
i have a couple of friends who LOVED NetFLIX... however, a few years ago, a couple of their movies got lost in the mail upon return, and had a hell of a time clearing it up... have things changed???
Curious. I've heard it's great and that when you first sign up, you get the movies in your que super fast (even new releases)
I've "heard" that the longer you are a member (and the more you use the service) that the longer it takes for you to get new releases. Seems backwards I know, but it would appear they are catering to new sign ups to keep them members
Like I said, this is only what I've heard. Can anyone confirm, deny, offer enlightenment?
I had Netflix recently for a short period - out of about 7 movies, 4 came broken! Then fortunately we got digital cable, so I just cancelled the Netflix. Maybe I just have an aggressive mailperson...
rath, this is true... i've seen our mailperson jam other tenant's netflix into their mailbox... i wonder how many of them got broken...
I had a period of time where I was getting my Netflixes a week late, but once I emailed (and actually realized it might be NYU's crappy mailing system) it went back to the regular 2 days later. I've never had a problem with broken discs, even though I could see how that might happen when a mailperson jams it into the box. I absolutely love Netflix. I'd recommend it to anyone. Craig, I haven't experienced this problem.. I have learned that if I send a movie back on Friday, they will get it by Monday and mail me the new releases the same day. So I get them on Tuesday when they are actually available at the video store.. I have never had a problem with them taking a long time and I have been a member for quite a while..
I know it depends on what warehouse has the video in stock as to where they send it from and that can account for mailing delays.
I've been a Netflix member for a couple of years now. A couple of times I never received the DVD or they did not receive one I mailed. All I had to do was contact them and it was cleared up immediately and I was not charged anything for the lost DVDs. I've never had a problem with "new releases", but then, Netflix usually doesn't have new releases until a week or two after they hit the video store. I have also tried GreenCine which is bit slower, but they have far more art, performance and foreign films that usually cannot be found ANYWHERE (in addition to carrying porn titles). And I tried Blockbuster, which is cheaper, has a great selection, cheaper than Netflix, and has shipped new releases as soon as they hit the shelves, so I'm probably going to cancel Netflix for Blockbuster.
i loved it for a wile but we started to cancel it becouse we couldnt posibly wach that many movies and it was just another bill
