I didn't pay enough attention to that, but I guess he must be old enough to run away with the money? Also, if they're going to continue with his story line, he must be young and hot.

When Tad got back, J.R. asked him where his "little brother" was. This was before J.R. found out Miguel ditched them. This whole thing doesn't make sense, because Adam would've fought for this kid. He would never meekly go away just because the mother didn't want him in the kid's life.

So it sounds like they're putting this kid between J.R. and Colby, agewise.
