Jane, I see that "Adam's" no longer seen on the opening sequence. Too bad..I hope he's not out of the show permanently. Anyway, this soap needs a good injection of "older", superior, character actors. As a contrast to the very young story lines. If "Damon" goes, too bad, also, because, imho, this actor, whose name escapes me right now, is DAMN GOOD! I think his off beat looks and angst ridden character is quite the best thing on the show. Michael E. Knight, on the other hand is just sooooo boring, still, after 25 yrs. A paycheck I guess.
There is absolutely NO WAY they could just eliminate David Canary from the show without major hoopla. He IS/was the show as much as Susan Lucci for cripes sake!!!!
Oh my lord, after almost dying in Iraq, and having had over 30 surgeries (in real life), let's cut some slack people.... I think the story line is lovely.....

Tiny, Jane and I both adore Brot. We were just surprised he's not in better shape because he looks like he is when dressed. (Sorry if I'm speaking for you incorrectly Jane, but I don't think I am?). I for one was not being snarky, and I don't think Janie was either.
You are exactly right, Stock. If Brot's injuries affected his muscular system, then it's totally understandable. Otherwise, I simply said I was surprised he wasn't in better shape. If you've ever noticed any other young males in soaps, they're totally buff (is that still a word?). (especially if they're going to do sex scenes)
I absolutely loved the snark fest between Marissa and Annie! I'm starting to like the new Marissa. She's much less of a meek do-gooder than the last one. She really handled that scene well~
I definitely like her better than the old Marissa. But I don't think she has nearly the chemistry with JR romantically (from the hallucination Annie had today - I know that was short though) that Annie does with him.
The new Marissa is a much better actor. I think the role is now LESS mousy, meek. Whoever this actress is, I must say, she is absolutely stunning! Reminds me of a turn of the century girl. Very soft and cameo looking A good foil for Annie. Tomorrow should be good. Perhaps 2 huge meltdowns by Friday's cliffhanger....
