I was disappointed because I expected a Pine Valley Massacre at the hands of JR, but only got one shot!

The last line was GOOD, though!: straight from GWTW. (Jackson) touche!

I found it a very flat ending, (or non-ending), especially compared to the final episodes of other soaps in the past.

This one was lacklustre, without flair or panache.

The only fun thing about it were the pompous paeans to Pine Valley, as if this nondescript burgh were some sort of gem of the universe. That made me laugh.

I guess the decline in the quality of writing that we saw in the recent past extended to the very end~

I thought it was a pretty good cliffhanger. And I loved Jackson actually growing a pair and dumping Erica.

Stockard, I thought it would have been a great cliffhanger if this was the last Friday in February sweeps, but this was the finale after 41 years of television. I realize the show is continuing, but there will be plenty of people who don't/can't keep watching, especially some of the elderly long-time viewers.

I agree though that it was fun to see Erica finally getting dumped by Jack. That was LONG overdue!

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
