You know how to nail your best 16 bars...
You have a book full of songs from 20 different genres of music...
You get called in for great jobs by casting directors that love your work, but you just can't seem to figure out why you don't get past that final callback...
The Other Side of the Table invites you to learn the secrets and nuances of the entire audition process in an innovative new audition workshop from two of Broadway's hottest up and coming directors!
Join Austin Regan, the assistant director of Broadway's AMERICAN IDIOT and EVERYDAY RAPTURE and Travis Greisler, the assistant director of the Scissor Sisters Musical, TALES OF THE CITY for THE ART OF THE CALLBACK: a 4 week workshop that details the audition process from first audition through final callback.
Participants in the class will get the experience they need preparing and presenting songs and sides in a callback setting while getting the invaluable resource of director centric adjustments and feedback.
Real audition experience is combined with discussion of what really happens on the other side of the table during the audition process. Austin and Travis give it to you straight and love to discuss the nuances of the business with their students.
Class meets for four consecutive Saturdays at a studio in midtown from 1-4 PM starting February 5th.
(Classes on Feb 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th)
For the price of just $325 you will partake in a one of a kind experience tailored to you as an individual performer, giving you the tools you need to nail your musical theater callbacks and get the job.
Class size is severely limited to ensure that each performer gets ample individual attention from the instructors.
