I was wondering why you would join a theatre newsgroup to post these videos. Do you have nothing to contribute yourself to any discussion on matters theatrical, or on any topic at all, for that matter?
Do you post these equally on film or stand-up comic newsgroups?
If so, what feedback have you received from those sites? Because there seems to be little feedback given to you here.
I viewed your last video, After Party, and about 20 seconds of this one.
We have posted our videos on many message boards but this one seems to get the most response asides from our facebook youtube channel, and cracked.com page. This one has the most harsh reviews but its nice to hear what people who don't like it think about it. Most of the fb, youtueb and cracked comments are people who like the videos and its great to hear what they like about the video but I enjoy reading the alternate opinions of people. Keeps us grouded? I myself come from a theater background so I enjoy the bluntness of theater folk.
Also I haven't found as many film or stand up message board that have such a active/responsive community. If you know of any I would gladly try them out.
Well, since you find negative reactions so appealing / amusing, I hope I'll make your day when I tell you I found After Party sophomoric, with not an iota of humor in it.
As for you latest, as I said, I turned it off after 20 seconds.
Unfortunately I haven't been to the Theater in a long time. I had to sacrifice it for my stand up career. I miss it very much. The last show I saw was The Lieutenand of Inishmore.
It's the first one I had to turn off. The situations you usually satirize are humorous and your troupe is clearly talented in finding the humor in mundane situations that are relatable (to what I assume is your target audience at least). But this one was a bit stomach turning. Definitely the first sketch I would say you should just abort.
As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome to post about anything you want on the Off Topic board.
But I have to say this one didn't work for me at all. I've liked your other work (sometimes quite a bit). But for me, this one was just a gross-out with no pay off at all.
I think you should call yourselves "Dead Tony Hopes".

I became a fan with the first video I watched which was "A Night To Remember." It made me laugh, and I watched the rest that were available at the time.
Among my favorites: "Passed Out," "Dirty Dishes," and "Christmas Morning."
I don't really dislike any of them. I just watched the latest, and yeah, I was grossed out at first, but then it made me laugh, and I was glad that I saw it through. Sort of reminded me of my husband in a weird exaggerated way, although (thankfully!) he's only ever been that bad off once or twice in our over 30 years of married life.
I'm glad you post here because a lot of times that is how I find out a new sketch is up on YouTube.
