New Queer Eye guy?

My bf is auditioning today for a "fitness expert" slot on Queer Eye--He saw the notice at the gym he trains in and is hoping to buy. Has anyone heard about this or know someone who's going? I hadn't heard anything and was wondering if this was legit.

if your bf is asked to get naked during the audition then, yes, it is for real.

Sure--he just finished his screen test he said, via text message...

He does sound too good to be real, RobbO...you ever go out to FI?
You might know him--he also used to work at the Greenwich st Equinox too

He just left the audition--he said they seemed to like him okay and they made him take his shirt off--he said there were some MAJOR HOTTIES there...sigh!

I don't know that they're looking for a new Queer Eye, as they told him the project lasts six months on one guy who needs to lose around 100 lbs...He did a little screen test and performed some exercises and spoke of his fitness philosophy...I guess we'll see what happens... He was so cute when he told me how nervous he was!

I didn't respond to this yesterday, but I must say, I'm kinda freaked about this. Over at Television Without Pity (my homeland), people have been complaining about Kyan always doing fitness stuff when he's supposed to be the grooming guy. Now that they're actually getting a fitness person, it makes me wonder if they could have read those boards and this is their response to it. Weird.
