What are some good resources for finding survival jobs in New York? I just went back to school and am in classes until pretty late in the afternoon, but my Fridays and weekends are open.
I just moved to New York a little over a week ago so any help would be great. Thanks.

First of all, your college should have jobs for students, both work-study and not. In addition, some university employment websites also have listings from outside sources - people who want babysitters and dog walkers and whatnot. Go to your school's jobs office and see where things go from there.

I would definitely recommend trying to find something on campus first, as they are far more likely to be understanding of a school schedule, especially around exam time.
Babysitting is another great way to go. Rates are very good in the city. The lowest I've every heard of anyone working is $15 an hour, with some people pulling in $30 or more an hour depending on the number of kids.
