Now look here, Singer. We parted ways a little after 4am and you got straight on a train, so if you're still up at 5:30 in the am, how exactly is that MY fault? If I can make it back to Queens and be tucked up in bed by 5am........

Anyway, yesterday was one heck of a day. Robots and the Sith trailer were both a little disappointing, but then the rest of the day really took flight. First off it was dinner at Luxia with Boobs, Bongoboy, Iflitifloat, Mominator (and husband) and jrb. Delicious food and divine company. Then jrb went off to see the invited dress run of Virginia Woolf, Boobs and Bongo went to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and the rest of the crew headed to the Shubert for the most uproarious night I have had in a theatre in a very long time. Met up with Adgal, Undiscovered, Cookie, Matt_G and the aforementioned bwaysinger outside and braved the craziest lobby on Broadway to take our (excellent) seats. Well, Act One is surprisingly short and while it's VERY funny, it doesn't quite cut as loose as I thought it was going to, though the Vegas pastiche was a high point. It helped that I was sat next to someone who has the loudest and most infectious laugh I think I have ever heard. Well in Act Two, I absolutely lost. my. s**t. It is without doubt the funniest show I have seen in years, possibly ever. David Hyde Pierce literally stopped the show with his big number and Sara Ramirez was utterly glorious and WILL win the Tony. My word.
Then it was out for drinks with the crew that resulted in the singer and I crawling home in the very small hours, a little worse for wear. Fun fun fun.
Today I am going to try to rush Altar Boyz with jrb.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
