Signature is NOT a metaphor.
And no one grew into anything new, we just became the worst of what we were."

OK, I give up - why does it matter what people put in their sigs?

I'm only asking because I seriously don't understand what problem is being caused.

new rule - the signature cause

It's the folks who have signatures that just go on and on...

It just takes up space.

When I bumped the thread I was more teasing than anything. In the broad spectrum of problems the size of people's signature lines is pretty minor. I just noticed that there was a spate of signature lines that were so long they were filling up my entire browser window as I scrolled down threads.
And no one grew into anything new, we just became the worst of what we were."

I like the extra scrolling. I fool myself into thinking I'm getting an actual finger-workout every time I scroll through WICKIDINACHENZEL!!!2@!!!111!'s posts, followed by the entire book and score (in tab form) of the musical.

It makes me feel less guilty when I realize I've eaten an entire plate of deep-fried twinkies while staring at the BWW screen.
iHeartMyGeek: But Pittsburgh also has many good qualities too!
ahmelie: Are you implying that twinkies and lesbians are bad? BITCH!

Sounds like quite an evening Aspen!

BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless

Well gee, I never realized how much time I was waisting at the gym doing finger curls. I can get my exercise here.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

SM2, your signature is beautiful just the way it is.

I wonder why I think that? Hmmm.
"I can't figure out what kind of life this is, comedy or tragedy, I just know it's showbiz. And what if I don't agree with the lines I have to read? They don't pay me enough, the way I see it."

I'm not really a fan of coffe, tea, or really long signatures.

How about people who have 5 avatars?
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."

"In Oz, the verb is douchifizzation." PRS

Some members on this board spend their valuable time griping over the most silliest things. Signatures? Everyone here has a right to make their signature as long (or as short) as they want it to be.

I'm getting the impression some of you on this board are just control freaks.

I question the dubiousness of any of my time on BWW to be valuable, but everyone has the thing that sticks in their craw, you know? For you, Retroboy, it's people who have a specific thing to complain about. There's a probably a thread you could bump for that.

I'm searching for a thread that addresses the use of the words, most silliest.

Why don't you create one and join the complainers club that nitpick and bitch over the usual insignificant things that are always being complained about on this bored. Uh, I meant board. Or did I?
