They don't seem to know very much at this point, or (hopefully) they're just not saying.
It's still early and they are thinking there may be more explosions.

Governor Deval Patrick called it an "attack" and said simultaneous explosions were planned along the route

yes, but lots of crap gets left behind....no saying that there are still bombs to be found.
2 bombs went off at the finish line, 1 went off at JFK Library, 2 were found intact.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

They are saying that there was a fire at the JFK library - unrelated to the other incidences. At this point, any package anywhere around is going to be considered "suspicious".
It's so early that a lot of reporting is bound to be false.

Logan Airport is stopping incocming flights.
The news I'm watching is stating the incident at JFK was an explosion, and suspected to be related...but of course, there is no way to know that at this time.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
