It's a scam!

Shocker!
Really. Times are hard all around - but if you're going to sell jewelry or anything - it's always best to deal face to face with a reputable business or sell it on ebay vs mailing something in and waiting to see how much they "offer" you...

I find it hard to believe that MC Hammer, who is a Godly man, would be involved in anything that could be considered a scam.
Another scam is for10cents.com. I saw an ad on facebook last night and checked it out. They claim you can buy big ticket items like ipods and tvs for less than a dollar. It didn't seem right to me so I did a little research. BBB gives them a F and customers claim that they "won" items but never receive them and that employees of the company write positive reviews and drive up bids.

The woman on the tv ad made me laugh. "I sold my old jewelry and took the vacation of a lifetime."
My son saw this commercial the other day and comes yelling up the stairs..."MOM!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY GOLD JEWELRY YOU DON'T WANT???"
Me: Why? Him: Because you can get money for it! I saw it on the TV!!!"
He was so excited.....LOL
I can't believe that people actually blindly trust these things. Just mail it in and accept what we send you.
Next thing you'll be telling me is that Mr. T's oven doesn't work, either.
At least the psychic hotline is still reputable.
I'm shocked that a company that advertises on TV that you should just send them your gold and that they would pay you full price for it would lie. REALLY!?
I’m just shocked.

Obviously Dionne Warwick is much more believable than M.C. Hammer.
There are a lot of local jewelry stores, etc. that will buy gold, silver...Why would anyone mail something in when you can take it to someone in person???
Another high-profile scam is freecreditreport.com. They have those commercials with the different songs where people just sing about the site. Total scam.
Anytime I see a commercial for something that seems iffy (and often even if it seems fine) I type the product next to the word 'scam' in Google and wait for the results. You'd be shocked how many things out there and complete B.S.
