Any fun happenings going on that I should be aware of next week in NYC?
Anything out of the ordinary?
I haven't been to the city in over 3 years and I want to be able to take full advantage of everything wonderful that there is to do and see.
I'm really excited!!!!!!!!!!
Wait, when are you going? From what date to what date? I think I *might* be going over there too not this weekend, but next weekend. I still have to talk to my dad about details, though.
Hm, I don't think there is anything going on in New York. You know, there never is. Its such a boring place to be, especially at nighttime. No people, nothing open. Why would you want to go there?
My suggestion to you would be pick up a copy of TIME OUT: NEW YORK when you get in, for the week that you're there. You might see something cool listed in there that we're just not thinking of.
Plus you'll be there on a weekend, find a street fair and get some funnel cake *mmmmmmm*
You should go the NYC Convention and Visitors Bureau where you can watch our very own Corine2 host a special about "What I Like to do in NYC".
I can assure you that it involves spicy tuna rolls and Avenue Q.
Oh, and you can go to the Times Square Visitors Center (which is located right next to the Palace Theater where Aida plays) and see what they have in there. You could even go on the theater walking tour which is kind of fun if you have time and nothing to do.
Make sure you go to Cosi on 14th st. for roasting smores and the amazing caramel apple cider
Oh darling, there's a Cosi 5 minutes from my house in Michigan.
I've been.
Any other thoughts?
I'm going that week too...from the 11th to the 13th. I have no plans thus far...I'm thinking about maybe going to bway in bryant park but other than that I'm playing everything by year...I don't even have show tickets yet :)

*whistles* Go to Cafe Mozart for dessert.... mmmm... I know I will be. :) Always.
For a great place to "hang out & chill" check out DT UT. & the Key Lime Bars are super tasty!
I've only been to the uptown location, but have heard good things about the downtown one, too.
& I know I always say it, but go to the museums. The Met is having a great show on fashion & furniture from the 18th century & call it "Dangerous Liasons".
DT UT
LOL
Anyone who didn't know that would think I'm a stalker *grin*
