When I was younger I used to date older guys. Not because I had a specific predilection for them, but because they were generally the ones who asked/responded. In my late 20s and early 30s I thought I'd never want to be with someone more than a couple of years younger. Now that I'm in my late 30s I feel like I'm a magnet for much younger guys. I'd say most of the guys who express interest in me are mid 20s or younger. I'm open, but I generally don't think I'll that much in common beyond physical attraction with guys that young.

I'm 27 and my boyfriend just turned 42. October 1st will be our 5th year anniversary.

I've always been into older men.

I get what you're saying. And it certainly was an imprecise view on the matter... I never got the whole age gap thing, so it's lost on me sometimes. I always dated older men (not on purpose) and ended up marrying fourteen years my senior.

The rise of the 'cougar' in pop culture over the last decade, or so, has been interesting to follow. Even though Mrs. Robinson really paved the way. LOL
