I love that song. We're singing it at our concert in June.
JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

I saw a production of MERRILY last night and can't get the song out of my head... it is SO moving...

I don't think I have ever seen anything by Sondheim....


I'll check it out on itunes though! You all have been great at steering me in right directions so far!

Well, I didn't get into theater until 9th grade, and I just like going to shows. I don't sing, act, dance, do any production stuff, etc. So I've gone to almost all the musicals that have come out in the last 12 years and that's about it. Stuff from the past? Not so much...
I'm sorry everyone! *goes back into the closet*

Aww, thanks guys, the closet was getting kind of dark, and I think Mike Wyzowski may have been in there too...

I'll check them out! And see- Thenardier doesn't like Sondheim and he's a huge theater person!

I've always thought THE CHERRY ORCHARD would make a MARVELOUS musical--I see it reset in a decaying plantation in Louisiana at the turn of the Century...
