YES! They're all good but SONG OF BERNADETTE is amazing. :)
What about SISTER ACT? Darn good it is.

I remember reading that Bette Midler had been offer the title role in Sister Act but turned it down.
Now THAT would have been amazing in a whole different way...

well, i have a real problem with people who accept roles and then refuse to perform the role properly....whether it's for religious reasons or personal politics. you should never have accepted the role if you had no intention of wearing a cross or genuflecting. you knew that was part of it and if you had any respect for the show at all, you would have refused the role or do it right.
you can't audition for "Hair", accept a role and then refuse to get naked...you'd be firec. i assume this was for a school or community theatre show, right?

Posted: 9/2/04 at 3:01amI believe Sister Act was actually written FOR Ms. Midler, but then she couldn't do it. When Whoopi was hired as a replacement, the whole project got reworked to fit her.
