i just saw this movie (we read the Odyssey in school so that was our winter break homework) and i loved it. It is easily one of the best movies i have ever seen! the integration of movie and music was brilliant. even the fact that George Clooney was lipsynching couldn't ruin the brilliance of the movie!

any other board members thoughts?

I loved this movie. Beautifully shot, and wonderfully acted. Loved the hair goo bits with Clooney, and Holly Hunter has never failed to bring in a stellar performance, has she?

I also agree with the soundtrack...the rendition of Constant Sorrow was great!

"so what businez you into, george?"

and he leans out the window with his tommy gun and starts shooting at the police!

Yes good soundtrack. 'Down To The River To Pray' I particularly like.

This is a great movie!! Now you've made me want to put on the cd soundtrack I have. It is physically impossible to stand or sit still during Man of Constant Sorrow. If you're not moving, check for a pulse. I also love "Down to the river to pray," PAB. Awesome stuff. (This seems to be my word, lately.)
