Error in the other thread.
I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a book that features a collection of his 400 stories? Or one that features most of the better ones?
Does anyone have a favorite?
Thanks!

There's also a nice film out on Fox DVD now, called "O. Henry's Full House."
It's an anthology movie, several of his short stories strung together on film. It's narrated on camera by John Steinbeck(!).
The short stories featured in the movie are:
"The Cop and the Anthem" - Starring Charles Laughton, David Wayne and Marilyn Monroe.
"The Clarion Call" - Starring Dale Robertson and Richard Widmark
"The Last Leaf" - Starring Anne Baxter, Jean Peters and Gregory Ratoff.
"The Ransom of Red Chief" - Starring Fred Allen, Oscar Levant and Kathleen Freeman.
"The Gift of the Magi" - Starring Farley Granger and Jeanne Crain.
It's not the best movie ever made, and some segments are better than others... but it's great seeing all these stars in one film, presenting O. Henry's work! The movie often feels like watching 5 episodes of the Twilight Zone, back to back.
There's also a nice couple of extras, including a featurette on O. Henry's life, plus a tour of the O. Henry Museum/Home.
