OK... I tried to post earlier but it didn't work.
Anyway, thoughts on the Dec. 30th episode where OLTL again broke ground by having the first gay male love scene on daytime TV? It's the most explicit same-sex love scene from a non-cable, non-PBS program aired in US television.
Glad to see OLTL living up to its promise of treating Kyle and Oliver just like it would any of the other straight couples on its canvas.

I didn't see the show that day. But good for OLTL!
I tried to post the scene earlier.

There was an article in Entertainment Weekly about soaps and it mentioned there were persistent rumors about it but that ABC denied it. Then my son told me he saw something on the internet about it.
Just rumors, according to the various daytime websites and publications: Daytime Confidential, ABC Soaps in Depth and Soap Opera Digest, Brian Frons has no plans to cancel any of the ABC soaps. http://daytimeconfidential.com/2009/12/16/brian-frons-abc-has-big-plans-for-soaps

Yeah, I doubt it... Cancelling OLTL? Almost impossible.
In fact OLTL just took over the AMC Studio as AMC is making the big leap to LA, making Llanview the sole NYC based soap still in operation under ABC.
OLTL is also doing well during the evening broadcasts at SOAPNet.
It's the best soap on right now, IMHO. And of course, I am loving Scott Evans and Brett Claywell's characters big time. They have the best depiction of a gay male relationship on network, non-cable TV right now out of all of daytime AND primetime. Not even Scotty Wandell and Kevin Walker have gotten such attention and stories like Kyle and Oliver have. Just great, great stuff.
I love Kyle and Oliver!
Mitch Lawrence is FREAKING ME OUT though.
I think that Mitch will be killed in Feb and everyone will be a suspect because they all want him dead.
Everyone will be a suspect because everyone has been planning his murder!
Its the greatest whodonit!
Why is my last post from 1/26 still the last post? Did BWW eat another one!
I didn't finish yesterdays episode, but, to recap:
Mitch and Crazy Nurse have kidnapped Jessica. Mitch has been giving her psychotherapy (or something like that) to erase her memory. He wants her to raise Stacy's baby as her own.
Crazy Nurse kidnaps Stacy and brings her to Mitch's hideout. Stacy reveals that its not Rex's baby, but someone elses. Mitch doesn't believe her.
Unfortunately, I don't think I can watch today's episode, as I have a lunch date planned, and then work. Boo woo.
It was electoshock treatment...WITHOUT ANESTHESIA. Nurse Cuckoo seemed to have issues with that. This snow storm is an effing riot!!!
I made a post and it didn't show up.
Spoiler
Mitch let Stacey go, and she's now wandering around in the snow. Charlie and Dorian made it to the cabin. Gigi went out looking for Skylar and to see if she couldn't figure out where Mitch was or something. Kim admitted to Clint and Kyle admitted to Roxie that Rex is not Stacey's baby daddy.

i am so excited that they are bringing back Laura Bonarrigo. CASSIE. YAY. she is fabulous..and gorgeous
Which one is Cassie? I've only been watching since the Nora and Vicky double wedding.
Yes, my first episode was the Blaire/Dorian "Grey Gardens" bit. Awesome.
Is Cassie Dorain's daughter? Or niece? The one that was once married to the Reverend Andrew? I stopped watching right after college and just picked up again.
Yes, Cassie is Dorian's daughter, and she was married to Andrew.
This is from Wikipedia:
Cassie is Dorian's daughter, by David Renaldi, whoever that is. She's been living in Savannah, since 2004, or so, when she was last on the show.
She was also raped by Mitch, so hopefully, she'll be back on before they finally kill Mitch.
