Does anyone remember this surprise horror hit from 1979? I begged my mother to let me see it, but no...I was only seven and horror movies about zombie kids who kill their parents by hugging them to death and the only way to kill them is to chop their hands off was strictly verboten.
And yes, someone is musicalizing it!

Now if it were a musical of "All My Children" I'd think about seeing it. Not sure if we need another horror musical after "Lestat".

The horror musical genre hasn't been terribly successful thus far.

This looks like not only a horror musical, but also a rock one. I hate to be a pessismist, but I vote that it'll never see Broadway.
