Should graduation year be HSM4??

That'd give us all ONE more of these delightful and absolutely relevant movies to watch!

When I watched the second one, I did a tequila shot every time the gay kid wore a new hat. I don't know how I'm gonna pull that off in a crowded movie theater.

LOL!!! I hadn't even thought of playing a drinking game along with the movie. Which I have seen a million times because my 5 year old son is in love with Vanessa Hudgins.

*sigh*

I guess I'll have to sit through this one too.....

re: OMG! What we've all been waiting for!

Did they even try to make the thing look like a real movie?

singingwendy, i was cracking up at the beaker and bunsen skit - now why don't they give the damn muppets a movie?

A note of differnce, amidst a symphony of discontent:

I'm pleased that the notion of old-fashioned musical presentation is being so embraced. Is it 'art'? How the hell do I know - or anyone else.

The message of self-reliance and acceptance is valid, and I can tap my toes on occassion to the pretty people dancing their hearts out.

Given the option, I'll take this over the umpteenth incarnation of GRAND THEFT AUTOMOTON any day.

Hold on to your hats, HSM4 is in the works! Unfortunately, you have to be a subscriber to the Hollywood Reporter, but here's the idea:

April 08, 2008 Even before "High School Musical 3" hits movie theaters in the fall, Disney Channel is starting work on "High School Musical 4." The news comes as the stars of the two smash hit TV movies are preparing for production on the third installment of the series, which will begin filming in two weeks in Utah.

Ok, to be fair, I played the game for maybe the first half hour before we got bored and turned it off. Which is a good thing, I guess, because if we watched all two hours, I probably would have died.

That reminds me of the time we played the Titanic drinking game we made up, where we took a shot every time we saw water.

The only way to watch 'Titanic' is in the privacy of your own home with an assortment of dry-erase pens (and a cleaning cloth would be handy too...). Whenever someone looks cold, give them a cup of tea. Whenever Cal does something caddish, give him a comedy-villain moustache. There's all sorts of things you can do and it gets VERY silly VERY quickly. :3

I feel sorry for Billy Zane. It must've sounded like SUCH a B-movie when he signed up for it, otherwise I'm sure he'd have stayed away. And lo, he got stuck in one of the biggest films ever. Poor little B-movie guy. re: OMG! What we've all been waiting for!

He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

LOL, well my son hasn't seen that side yet.

And I kind of understand where DG is coming from. At least it's exposing young kids to music and dancing. Maybe not the best music and dancing, but still.

re: OMG! What we've all been waiting for!

i'm at university for film production, i made a facebook event for my class to go see this on opening night describing it as " a wonderfully fufilling coming of age film. Focusing on the trials of graduation and the pending connotations of seperation, this film tells its story in a unique and intersting way through the intergration of musical and dance elements. No doubt, it will have something for everyone. After all, we're all in this together."

so far we've got 4 confirmed guests :)
