The Tony Awards are an easy lift for someone with her stamina. Are audiences as excited to see her host again? Remains to be seen.

Personally, I'd be fine if the Tonys moved online. That means more people in more territories can see it live - especially if, as in the news today, the plans are for HBO Max and Paramount+ to come together under one streamer

I feel like this was discussed in the Arena Stage message thread, but not a chance. They couldn't afford her even if they wanted her.

I really want to buy a ticket, but these prices are ridiculous especially when you can see this show is clearly not selling, most dates I see see the same holds and way too much of the theatre is at $250+.

How are they gonna work WAP into the finale megamix?

Just to go back to current casting, I feel like I haven't seen a lot about Bob as Zidler, and I was looking to see him before he leaves. 

Very sad. And I will say it was a shame he didn't transfer to Broadway with In the Heights, he was a huge part of why I loved it Off-Broadway.

I'm annoyed by this new casting.

Because I was thinking I could avoid it, but now with Layton joining it's a must for me.

(Assuming they offer a discount at some point.)

I don't know. Mixed reviews, Cynthia in not a mostly singing role, and general apathy by Broadway audiences to theatrical vampires? Not sure it'll be worth the effort to bring it over.

It's been too long since those thighs have been on the Broadway stage! 

And it's nice to see them sticking to non-traditional casting as Mary's Husband, love these unexpected gents in the role.

I never thought about this, but do Broadway performers accrue PTO? Or do contracts allow a certain number of days at signing?

I'm under the impression that they look at how the album is produced, not necessarily its percentage of content, this vs that. That's why so many "jukebox" musical tend to win, because they record it like a traditional album of music.
