Post them, SP! I'd love to see them.
As soon as I charge my camera enough to take a couple, I'll have mine up here.

Here is one wall of the apartment, with the penguinmaster included.
The row above the TV now extends all the way across.
Those are very cool P.
Pic set 2.

Last set...I promise.

My scanner did a crappy job with the quality on all of these.
I wish I had the cord for my digital camera, but alas it is lost.
Very nice! And cool to get a look at the Penguinmaster too.
One last set.
There are more beside these on a nook, "the wall of shame" where we display the awful shows.
Fuzzels prefers that the "penguinmaster" remain behind the scenes, most of the time.
What size frames do you all use? 8 X 10?
ooooh, those are FUN!
i have my playbills in individual 8x11 frames and my window cards in 14x20 (i think?) frames. they take up SO much room, but i LOVE them!
patronus, what are those bigger frames?
like what size ar those and what size can you get? Cuz I like the idea of having a big frame with more than one inside it, rather than each seperate.
Oh man, I need to get frammmes!

You can frames like the ones Patronus has made in any size. It's just glass and a backing, and you buy as many clips as you need. I've seen HUGE ones. Check maybe even a hardware store or something!
ah, thanks!
I like them a lot, and you can have the white backing any color, right? Like what is that white? Cuz if I can replace it with somethin black that'd be cool.
I really wanna hang my playbills up...
One bad thing tho, my dorm doesn't allow screws/nails, any good way to get them up? I use 3 mm double sided tape for my posters and stuff, but dunno if that would hold the frames or not. Plus the double sided tape might mess with the frame, but dunno... since not sure what the back of those frames are.
Hmmm... maybe there are some alternatives to hanging stuff up with no nails/screws? Although, I don't think there are... other than the tape.
Hmmm , might just do that. I think I'm gonna buy frames online, ikea.com time!! woohoo!

You know, you can get those 3M hooks made specifically for picture frames. That's what I use on my apartment walls.
But if you're going the route of those frames I described, I don't know what you could hang them with. I think the clips just have a little hole on the back, like for a nail.
Good luck! I love buying frames!
damn it, they only sell them in stores, I'm mad.
Anywhere else online I can get those kinda frames???
Cuz I don't gotta car or really the time to go out to an ikea and buy these things.
oh and btw, not limited to these frames, will buy other types too, as long as they aren't crazy expensive.
But yea, just need to find a site cuz ikea is stupid, grr.

I found a site with those clip frames. They seem to be reasonably priced. I don't know about shipping and stuff, but their site looks pretty well laid-out.
ETA: I'm sure a link would be helpful... oops!

You are the man!
Actually, woman, since ya username is Allie, guessin ya female.
So yea, you're the woman!
lol, thanks :)
and shipping will be like 10 dollars, which isn't horrible. Still 10 dollars less than the cost to going to NYC and finding an ikea and getting them there. ikea is like 2 or so dollars cheaper for each frame, but whatever I'm not gonna complain.
Anyone think frames with like a border would look good? Since I can buy those at that site too, even though they are $5 or so each.
anywayz, thanks again, probably gonna get em off there.
I'm suprised Ikea doesn't have them online. I wonder if you could order them as a telephone order?

So this thread motivated me to buy some frame-less frames for my Playbills and it looks quite pretty. My only worry is whether the Playbill cover has ever stuck to the glass when someone's tried to take it off. I'm terrified that I'll see enoPuL ittaP staring back at me once I peel the glass covering off!
I got frames!
Although they are a bit different... More like Over the Moon has from the first page, skinny plastic black outside part.
I will take a picture of them up when I can.
I have a question... how do you guys get them straight and centered? I have done one so far, and it's straight I think, even though the a bit more to the bottom (rather than perfectly centered). I think I'm just OCD cuz I want them liek measured centered/straight lol. Curious if anyone has good ways to get them in nicely and centered.
I actually have the same question as Tiff... is everyone sure that they don't cause destruction? I also wouldn't want that happening.

i get my frames at walmart for like $2. they look good and you dont have to take the playbill apart.
The frames I used above from Ikea don't require me to take the playbill apart either - and I don't have to support the evil empire that is Wal-Mart.
