"where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring."
The puppeteers are not happy that the Obamessiah has been trying to think on his own. He is now put back on the script.

Funny Goth...the article you linked to doesn't in any way allude to puppeteers...unhappiness with thinking on one's own, or a script. But, if it makes you happy...you just go right ahead and think that.

Who are the puppet masters? Who is the Obamesiah? Why is this a story?
Thank God we have at least one candidate who'd never think of doing something that lowhanded!

YAY! MY "Grasp for it Goth!" meme has caught on!
"Graspin' For Goth". Sounds like a community organization....OOPS!
Please, Goth's been grasping at it forevah.
That last picture is classic if only to point out (regardless of who is reading the prompter - republican or democrat) how sad it is that a comment about how happy they are and the many memories they have of their alma mater. As if they can't remember THAT part on their own lol
"CNN's Jeanne Moos takes an unconventional look at the word "nuclear" in Sarah Palin's script."
Needed a teleprompter and had to have the word spelled out phonetically.

Actually I offer those photos only as an example to Gotham and any others so inclined to watch where they're throwing their stones. (Glass houses, ya know?!) I've done quite a lot of public speaking and there were many times when I wish I had a teleprompter just to remind me where I am in the speech and to have names, places, dates handy. You have no idea how easy it is to suddenly have a brain fart right in the middle of a sentence. It wouldn't have surprised me to suddenly draw a blank when introducing myself. It has absolutely nothing to do with what you know.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing Mamie said. Teleprompters are a good thing. A necessity.
