It was not one of the main reasons I voted for him and (I know I will get flack for this) it really doesn't upset me that he is not for gay marriage. I think that in time, many more states will legalize it. At least I hope they will. This is not meant to sound selfish, but it won't affect me as I don't plan to marry. But I feel for my friends who do.

Well, let's see--you had to go back several years to point an example at me. One that resulted in copious amounts of dialogue and debate that made me realize my stance was wrong.
And, not exactly a good parallel at that.
But I know some of you love to form your opinions and facts and nothing, even truth, can dissuade you. So you go on believing what you believe. As long as you feel right and certainty.
