I guess this makes it officially official?
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2011 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.

Posted: 6/1/11 at 12:54amYou know..Obama may not be the perfect President (I dont think anyone ever could be) and he made some errors that made me quite angry at him, but this dude really knows how to bring people together. The GOP can really learn somin from him.

Note: in addition to LGBT month, the President also declared it African-American Music Appreciation Month, National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, and Great Outdoors Month.
