Okay, my mom and I were discussing this - in what context does Muriel say "Merde"? I can remember her saying it, but can't remember why - but I know it's in this scene!
Can anyone help me out?

Hmmm. He's just showing his incredible range... not only does he 'woo'... he can 'woo meet'. It's a special skill one rarely sees on the resume.

*Ma'am is apparently considered disrespectful in the North (meaning, where I live)...all my life, I had no idea!
Really! Well maybe because of the No MA'AM organization. You know it was in the Married with Children series.

DreamFlyer- I put that because I'm listening to Spamalot...if I had DRS, however, it'd be in my Walkman.
PF - she does say it...and I see her saying it.

I am listening to the song "You won't succedd on Bway if you don't have any jews".
But there is a DRS in my discman, I listen to it every morning when I go swimming.

I wish it were because I am so bored while I swim an hour. It would be funnier if I could here the music.

Danget... so who are the Nuns?
There are so many nuns in the show! Sally Mae, Laura Marie Duncan, and Joe Cassidy are all nuns.

Joe Cassidy? Oh my...
I remember when Albin said it in La Cage.
Ahhh. On your way TO swimming. Not the physical "headphones on doing laps" thing... good. I was mildly worried about electrocution for a minute there.
That or I wanted to know what company had finally come out with a waterproof CD player.

I have a waterproof c.d. player. You just cant like through it in water but if it gets damp/wet it works.

Don't do this to me. It's 3.10am and I am laughing so hard and loud that I will make everyone wake up.
That's more like water-resistant... It's not waterproof until I can sit at the bottom of the pool with it and listen to "Tiny Bubbles"...
