To gav, drs, western, and all on the thread who are getting promotions of any kind in life .... my sincere congratulations!
If anyone viewed the pics of luvtheEmcee, wickedrentq and Thenardier on Greg's web site right after I posted them, I had the order of some names incorrect and have since fixed that. (Thanks, Thenardier!)
Broadwaygirl, you sure have one long sig there! lol
HAHA...
oh JF1 - I dunno if this was my side or mine but after sending you an email, i received an email back, as a reply, with [SPAM] in front of it.
I dunno if something happened to your account or mine, but I thought you'd ought to know, just in case.

The domain mail server seems to mark everything with SPAM ... I try to take that out when I reply but may have missed it that time. It takes my going in through webmail to put addresses on the "white list" ... I use outlook to download my mail and only go through webmail if I have to. But yeah ... that's all it was. A sensitive mail server!
hmm ok...
well, that came right after I sent you the e-mail...didnt opne it.
But then about an hr later, i got ur reply.
Has everyone read this article? - https://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=2804
I just came across it while doing a search. It's a great interview with Greg.
I'm always a little late when it comes to stuff like that..
s'ok...nice to post it here anyway!
Gah... they spelled Denis O'Hare's name wrong in that article.
...On a side note, I'd love to see Denis do Andre. Though I much as I love me some Denis, I don't think he could top Greg.
Greg... that is possibly the greatest compliment I will ever give anyone.
I would have killed to see Greg as Billy Flynn in Chicago.

I really need to log on through webmail and update things so fans of Greg who have written are white-listed. But just to show you how crazy it is right now ... looking at my webmaster in box in outlook ... pretty much *everything* has "SPAM" in front of the subject header except for (for some reason) BWW mail (newsletters, PM alerts) and a very few other things.
anyway, back to the man himself ... who all's planning to make the Tower Records Lincoln Center DRS CD signing on the 23rd?
Ah! I wish I could go. Sigh.
I really seems as if all the super cool things are happening before I get to the city. Someone tell him hello for me..

cd signing ... Cast / creators expected to be there ... not sure who all's definite but Greg said he'll be there for sure. And I know for a fact that John Lithgow's confirmed. Should be fun. Wish I could be there!
I wish I could be there too. I wonder how he liked the GFU creations! I haven't gotten a reply. Though I'm sure he gets loads of fan mail.
doubt it.
Otherwise, i'd take pictures for greg's site...
Anyone who goes must promise a full Greg report when they return!
Wow, I didn't notice what time it was. I like it how no one sleeps around here.
Heh... about an hour ago I put on Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. My mother came in the room, bleary eyed, etc, wondering what the heck I was doing...
...I'd forgotten some people actually like to sleep at night.
Doo waa diddy diddy dum diddy doo...anyone still awake?
nah, went to the first DRS signing(though I didn't get Joanna...grr.) It was the first time I ever talked to Greg though...not a great convo...he asked me how I was and I said good, how are you?(felt very embarassed I couldn't think of anything else!) but he remembered my face from that.
JF1-I'm going to check the webcam now!
Hehe-I feel cool to permanently be in a montage. I was looking a bit down at the computer, oh well. Still pretty awesome! Thanks a lot JF1!
That is so cool. Dear oh dear am I jealous! lol

Western, I have no doubt you'll have your own "I met Greg" experience to tell us about one day. Oh, and there's a link to the BWW interview on Greg's web site ... though by now I may have moved it from the main page to the "past news" page. It is a great interview!!
wicked, lol ... yeah, I thought your visit deserved a spot in the Friends of Andre gallery as well ... and the size of the cam images worked well to fit in an 800x600 montage.
Also, to Western, about your getting no response re. the G F U page ... Mon. was his day off, remember. Depending on what plans he may have had with his family, he may not have checked email recently.
One other thing ... just posted a new "Friends of Andre" photo ... Greg backstage with a U.S. Naval Officer & his 11 year old son. I think this is my favorite photo we've received so far. And what very nice comments from the soldier's wife.
