I have written an e-mail to Greg (not the first one)
Well....Greg didn't reply to the bracelet e-mail. ((sigh)) haven't gotten an email from him in a while, maybe 3 weeks. I guess he didn't like the bracelet idea. Well, I like Barb's kidnap Greg!! I am moving into a new house and we've got a great big (haha get it? great...big?!) guest room! .
I'm a nervous wreccccccck. I need to get into the city on the 28th. It's like... URGENT URGENT now.
Why do you need to get into the city so badly, Greg? Sister, I know how you feel, I've had this feeling ever since my second e-mail from Greg when he told me that he wasn't going to be at DRS on the 26th when I went to see it. .
*hugs* And yes, of course Greg!!!
((sigh)). I'll meet him when the time is right. lol.
I'm almost done drawing Greg - FINALLY - I just have to finish his hair
At this point I would like to state, that the kidnapping was my idea!!!...Unless the police are reading this and than it was all Barb's fault...
Yaay for sleeping late for the first time in 3 days. God, sleep is great...
Regarding Greg and e-mails...I don't know more than anyone else, just a theory I've had the past couple of weeks...I know when he got e-mails from me thanking him and the GFU I saw him at softball and he said he read them all, so I know he reads them...I have a feeling as the cam started catching on, and as word got out how nice he is, and the shout outs, and the fact that he always responds to e-mail, he may have started getting bombarded with them, making it much more difficult for him to respond to all. Also, with the thread and all, it def seems like more and more effort has been placed into making the cam more entertaining, also taking time away from e-mails...I'm with Barb though, whatever we get from him is awesome, in lots of ways the cam is probably better than e-mail. If anyone sent him a very important question(don't know what that would be...) my guess is he would respond.

Hi everyone!
So the idea of bracelets...looks like we aren't going to have our own. You can always buy a bracelet and write on it with Sharpie...but usually, the Sharpie smears off. That's the bad thing about it. Maybe there's someone who can engrave letters into it?
Yeah, for money.
If you want it, buy one on your own.

Okay, well, I don't know how Greg arranges the e-mails, but I sent him one 3 hours ago, and I have the answer 5 minutes ago. So, well...
...maybe I was lucky or important...lucky, I guess.

Sorry, I sent him the e-mail at 16.44pm (European time) and got my answer at 16.55pm.
So I had to wait only 10 minutes.
But my e-mail wasn't a fanmail, I asked some technical stuff I was interested about (clothes, lights).

"Head UP, not OFF."
Mamie, I know! lol Read my edit. I realized that immediately. lol
Gosh, I love your avatar. I hope you never change it. I was a bit like Scout as a kid ... not same hairstyle, but tomboyish and known to often say whatever I was thinking at the time (used to get me in trouble!) Anyway, that is a great movie. Gotta just love Gregory Peck in that one!
Emails to Greg ... yes, he reads them all. Even I'm not sure just what his exact system is, but have reason to believe, from things he's said, that he likely reads them as he gets them but doesn't necessarily always have the time to respond right then to each one. And yes, I believe at times they can sort of pile up on him.
Keep in mind, too, that in addition to mail from fans, he gets email like any of us might, from friends, family, teachers he's had, people he's worked with, etc.
PS ... cserannie's email a case in point ... she posted as I was writing this post earlier, so just now reading it ... Obviously Greg happened to be online when her email came through and he had time right then to reply ... I'm sure the fact that she had some good questions like she says helped.

Thanks, Barb.
So cooool!
I always care about technican stuff not just the play.
Thank you ma'am. I think Scout's here to stay. I've loved that movie for as long as I can remember and I think it was mostly because I always 'connected' with Scout. She reminded me so much of ME at that age. We even looked a little bit alike. The place I grew up in looked like their town and their street. The one thing I had that she didn't was two great parents. The one thing she had that I didn't was a big brother. I always envied her that!
By the way - for whoever is complaining, I've written to G a couple of times and I've never received a response of any kind - nor did I expect any. (And no - they weren't nasty either).
Hey all. It is Friday and boy am I happy. No camp until Monday (yeah, it's like school.) So I get to SLEEP IN tomorrow. Life is grand.
How are we all doing on this fine day?
Peachy-keen, Kerrie. And how are you?
The day started out looking really bad - pouring down rain, high winds....and all on top of major rain during the night. The news was filled with flood warnings. Now the sun is shining and all looks grand!
I am exhausted! The juniors at camp (grades 3 and 4, the seniors are grades 5 - 10) all think I'm marrying my friend Jeremy and we're having a baby. They went from asking me if I was in love with him to shouting out "WHEN ARE YOU GETTING PREGNANT?!?!" Something is wrong with today's youth..
I think I'm off to take a short nap.
