I don't think I'm seeing Charlie... woop.
UH...GO SEE IT! lol.
Hey guys, looong, fun day. Going to bed very shortly.
Very briefly wanted to say, awesome day, I was the DRS manager today(they didn't have enough people for anyone to not be in field) so that was lots of fun.
Will post more details tomorrow.
Goodnight.
Ahahaha. Just finished watching Friends. My favorite part was definately, "Paper. Snow. A GHOST!!" LMAO.

thanks Barb and Liz the info.
My favorite part was when they were in the winners circle and Greg was asked if he is ready to play, and he is like "sure, yeah". That was priceless...
This is my impressive wow look at me its 6 AM post, the scariest part is that in 2 hours it will be 8AM (Do ya like that Math!) And it will still be far too ridiculously early to be concious...There is your deep thought for the day...
And I'll start the day with, We all miss you Kerrie and pray for you in your time with no highspeed cable connection!
Yeah thats right I was presumptuous and used a we I will take all complaints from all Kerrie haters in my Pms...
This is my impressive oh ****, forgot to fall asleep post. Yes, another all nighter for Liz...
Well, I better not fall asleep during Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Ugh, gonna have to get home at around 11, then sleep, go over to my friends house the next day and slee over (we will not be going to sleep, lol) this is gonna be one sleepless weekend for Liz...still insane...still sleep deprived.
Okie, feel much more refreshed after a good night's sleep. Thank god class is only 3 times a week...okay fun yesterday story...
Think I mentioned I decided to skip rehearsal and last hour of class for full Thursday in the city. Glad it was definitely worth it. Let me backtrack for a bit though...last Saturday, when I ended up at DRS, you know I was with some friends and a certain ahole who will remain anonymous *coughbroadwayguy2cough* He spent the whole day being a know-it-all and thinking he's god gift's and the best b/c he's friends with some broadway performers. At one point I don't even know why, but he says to me, you know I think you should know, I'm friends with broadway actors so I know, they really don't like it when you come to lots of their softball games unless you're actually friends with them, you know on a phone number basis. They tend to think of that as stalkerish behavior. Ulgh! I was soo mad, but I can be insecure about things and a small part of me was like maybe he's right...I went anyway but was a bit scared...
Actually, I hid behind a tree for a couple of minutes, really need to learn to not let people get to me. Anyway, finally I went to sat on the bleachers, but DRS was having a problem b/c they only had 8 players there. Finally they were told they could play but unless a 9th player showed up before their spot in the batting order, it would be considered an out. Greg was distracted through this, but then finally saw me and right away was like "Amanda!" and I felt a bit better...we talked for a bit, about vacations, about me being at the show on Sat...about how great Joe Cassidy was, I wanted to mention the Friends episode but forgot, mad at myself.
So they finally started playing and Sara came so she could be the 9th batter. We were on a field where there's only one set of bleachers, so the Phantom people were sitting as were the DRS people. At the bottom of the 1st, someone from Phantom's team was trying to keep score, as in fill out a scorecard, but had no clue how to do it, so since I know a lot about baseball, huge Yankee fan, and such, I started helping her out. Greg came over and said I was helping to coach, hehe...
And then next inning, I realized there was no one who could keep score for DRS, at least when they were fielding b/c everyone was in the field, so I picked it up and kept score that inning. When they came back, someone asked where the scorecard was and I was like, oh I just kept score last inning b/c no one else could and they were like oh, you don't mind doing it for the game? And I was like noo, I'm a huge baseball fan, I love doing the scorecard! So they were very grateful, so I kept score, and also kept shouting up who was due up for them, lots of fun. Greg introduced me to everyone, and then everyone proceeded to call me Manager Amanda...hehe, I like that name.
Ehh, hmm any other interesting moments...ooh at one point Sara(Gettlefinger-Jolene btw if anyone didn't realize), got a hit and scored a run. She was very, very proud of herself as apparently she doesn't get hits much...if ever. Another time she walked with the bases loaded and I told her she gets an RBI for that, she didn't realize that and was again very happy.
As for the rest of the game, meh...like i said DRS was playing kinda short-handed so umm...the final score was...Phantom, 19-5. Err, not great. Greg went 4-4 though with I think only one error...ss made like 4...and then at the end everyone thanked me profusely for helping out and Greg congratulated me on a well-managed game. So I felt better and decided that's something everyone would say to someone they don't like being at their games and who they think is a stalker...just made me realize ahole was...well, an ahole.
Ooh, and great Gregism from the game. One of the Phantom players would put on like sweat pants when he batted or ran the bases so he could slide if necessary, he was in shorts otherwise. So as he was putting them on, Greg shouted: "There's no pajamas in baseball!" ROTFL. Did I mention I love him?
Okay, I'll just put the rest of the day b/c I know at least Catherine mentioned she likes to live vicariously through me. Tried to make it over to Broadway in Bryant Park, was too late, took a bit of a nap. Then I met up with Mistress, and we ended up going to Rent...got in the last row of orch, which you'll see I love b/c I can dance and stuff w/o ruining anyone's enjoyment and for $20...yaay for cheap tickets for wheelchairs and their companions.
Show was great as usual...Joanne had an understudy, and Frenchie was out again so I got a bad SOL soloist again, meh, but I dealt. I really liked Karmine, she was great that night, and I really think I'm a huge Kelly fan. Destan did great at the end of I'll Cover You Reprise and Justin was wonderful as usual. I'm still not a huge fan of Matt's portrayal of Mark, but it's still better than Drew Lachey or Joey Fat One I suppose. As usual, I was the first and loudest to moo. Kept slapping Mistress to moo but she wouldn't, so I just kept mooing and slapping her till I was done. Danced a bit along, did some of the choreography, hehe, love that show.
And as a last tidbit, we went out for a bite after, I got soup, and as I was ready to leave she met up w/ ahole. She told him that I managed DRS so I threw in something like yeah and you know they were really happy I was there and thanked me profusely...typical behavior from people who don't like me being there and think I'm a stalker. He just said well I'm still right, but if they were short players, they'll do what they have to to play. Ulgh!!!
Anywayz, aside from last unfortunate tidbit, great day. Definitely worth it to miss rehearsals and a bit of class.
Okay, yeah, I need to move to the city now. *sigh*

Wow, you have a perfect day Amanda. Did everyone play softball from the DRS team?
I'm assuming you mean in terms of cast? No, only Greg and Sara from the main cast. There usually are more like I said but I read the line-up card enough let's see if I can remember everyone...
Jeremy, Greg, Jeff, Tim, Gayle, Wally, Dana, Sara, Kelly came late and replaced Jeremy...and I'm missing one...a guy who I think batted either 3rd or clean-up...oh well.
Dana I think I remember from Gregcam is asst. stage manager...Jeremy is a swing...other times I went Rachelle Rak and Greg G have been there, and I'm pretty sure Joe Cassidy was too.
The rest are probably crew members or ushers or something, didn't track them down in the playbill.

Cool . I am so jelaous of you.
Man, I need to meet Greg! lol. Glad you had such a great time!
lol I do live vicariously through you!...When I was last in the city all I met were a bunch of dead pigeons...They were very cordial however, and I do intend to stay on a phone number basis with them, So i'm sure to be welcomed to the softball games
...And I officially have to stop ignoring people with username containing broadway or theater in them no matter how confusing the masses of them can be, because I never know who anyone is talking about!

Yay annie!
Yay for Annie! I've got about 2,750 posts. lol.
Nah sev, I can't really explain it...softball's just really low-key and well Mistress kinda lectured me on this when she first took me, it's just not the right place to ask for a picture or autograph or anything. I suppose I could have taken pics during the game, but I go to every game and I dunno, don't feel it's necessary. I do see people walking around taking pics a lot on like big cameras, I dunno whether they're photographers or what, they do appear to have more of a purpose than just taking fan pics though. ::shrug::
Annie, I'm jealous of you too, I've never been to Europe, really wanna go.
Though one day I think I was watching a hairspray game, later as I was sitting and listening to music in the park, John Litghow walked by me in a DRS cap, not a uniform, so I assumed he might have been playing. Didn't say much, but I think Give Them What They Want was on my ipod at the time so that was kind of weird. Haven't seen him at any games since then though.
Ooh, on another note, tomorrow afternoon my mom and sis were seeing Fiddler and I saw it twice, and didn't really feel like going, so this morning I got a $50 phantom ticket in row g of center orch, so I at least won't be here for the afternoon cam. Don't know about the evening, trying to find someone to see Charlie w/...I'll see.

if John walked by me I guess I would faint or have a heartattack or something.
It is so funny. Every American wants to go to Europe because everyone thinks that is so romantic or antique or I don't know. And every European want's to go to America because it's so alive and I don't know what.
Stange.
