Naw Kerrie - it wasn't invisible LOL
I just thought that I could send you a nice neat package instead of having your mailbox overrun with cards :)
It's whatever is easier for you! Lots of cards or one package! You pick :)
Haha I just made it insanely obvious that I skim most posts. I understand what you were saying now. That would work out. Not sure if my dorm would want me getting a million cards and such like that. A neat package would work. lol
hmm....if i go see the show in sept, i could personally give him stuff! that would be cool!
oh, and i have marching band practice tomorrow night! nooo! i mean, i was still able to make the second half last time, but...ah, we'll see. hopefully i won't miss much. make sure nothing super exciting happens without me! (jk!)
No! I claimed the position of delivering the goods. lmao. If you're in the city over his birthday, we could meet up and do it together!
That goes for anyone, actually.
no, i might go before his bday, seeing how the 28th is on a wednesday, and that's a school night. *sigh*
and i meant that i'd deliver him my own gift, lol! but, if not, i know that i can send you the stuff, kerrie!

Hey no worries. I'm not either :)
But, it's my dream to someday be a real GFUer.
Who do I have to bribe with chocolates?
Its all about the benjamins!
Okay guys, I finally took a step and put in calls to 2 or 3 regional theatres/playhouses inquiring about playing in their pits. I'm just so scared that having never done anything like this before, I'm just doing it totally stupid and the messages I left make me sound like a moron...
That would be so cool! Let us know what happens.
hey there's nothing wrong with calling people. let us know what happens.

Greg already has an official site for fans to gather for information, a message board for conversations, etc....I've been to the site and it is awesome and his webmaster Barb is great. She even has an area for fans to share their fan art and photos.
Can't get a better official site than what Greg already has...check it out;

Ruthie
Hi there, Ruthie. Yes - we know ALL about the website. Barb posts here on the thread quite a bit, she's part of the big happy family!

reply to Cat:
1: we eat everything that you American (maybe a little more soup and less hamburger...I eat soup everyday)
2: non-american shows: I don't know, I barely watch televison, because all programs are sh*t. Sorry. But I like american shows, I hate soap operas, and if I want to see a good program (like a Tony awards show) I have to ask my uncle to record it for me.
But thank God, there's INTERNET.

You're all sure enthusiastic, and that's great!
Regarding a fan club ... Greg's official web site doubles as his "official fan club" also. We're one of the most fan friendly celeb web sites around, in my opinion, and there are places there for fans to participate. Greg is great at interacting with his fans, whether it's at the stage door, via his web cam, or responding to emails ... he mails out signed photos to any fan who sends him an SASE to the address listed on the site (currently the Imperial stage door) ... the web site beats any snail mail newsletter for news and info.
Ruthie, you're obviously a fan from way back who remembers a message board being on Greg's site. Most people seem to prefer either emailing the site or posting in the guest book, so we dropped our message board eventually. Nowadays, with Greg being back on Broadway, fans started gathering here on this board and since this thread was created, most have been posting here. So I don't see much use at this time for reviving a board on Greg's official site.
"Official" has advantages and disadvantages ... you all do a great job being supportive of Greg and his work, and I think you should keep that up and not concern yourselves with any official title. You can keep doing what you've been doing without that. If you all want to make shirts or whatever, I don't guess there's anything to stop you as long as you're not using any trademarked or copyrighted materials to do so. To support the "official fan club," all you have to do is support and promote Greg and his web site. If you've sent us a photo of you and Greg at the stage door (or backstage), or you've posted a msg. in the guest book, or you've contributed fan art, or you've sent Greg a fan letter via snail mail or email AND have shown (or at least not disproven) that you're a true fan who both admires and respects Greg (unlike one particular infamous person), then far as I'm concerned, you're a member of his fan club. :)

Oh, and tmyres (Talia), it bothered me that you posted your snail mailing address ... sorry, but that is NEVER a good idea on a public message board. You really should take that out of your post if you haven't already. JMO. I just care about your safety as well as your privacy. [edited: a mod must have gotten wind; the post appears to be gone ... Thanks to Talia for understanding where I was coming from here.]

Wow, it's a good think to buy him something, but what?
And if I wanted to send something to John, would you deliver it too?

hey guys! just stopping in to say hi after a long and hectic day. and it will continue in about 5 minutes.
Kerrie---where are you gonna be going to school that your living in the city? and for what?
Tmyres...yeah thats a really good idea, but Barb is right...you should take your address out of there. you can pm it to people..then it won't be as public.
Barb--yeah i see what your saying. his website is official, so that kind of makes it a fan club as well...and we're all part of that!! so who cares about our title..as long as WE know that we love Greg, thats all that matters!!!
I'm going to Pace University for musical theater.
k guys! pictures are up! either go to photobucket and search from Dre2387 or:

Holy crap. Andrew is one handsome dude.
I definatelly have to agree with you there Gav.
Your pictures turned out great Dre. The one of us with Greg is so much better than the one I got. Only thing is in the picture of us with Andrew I'm looking the other way. Guess that's what happens when three cameras are going all at the same time.
i know! (but I still think he's is hotter with the glasses)
