want to say we've seen her before? Maybe Dolly's off and this is another dresser. But I could be wrong. :)

I wonder how you get to be a dresser. That would be an interesting job.

what *exactly* does a dresser do? i mean do they phsyically dress them? or just say hey go put this on and adjust it if its messed up? or am i completely stupid for asking?

Girls can you help me? What does this mean: GIT-R-DONE?
It is a text one of the wristbands...
they just help out, so things can go faster. u know, they organize the clothes and stuff. like, i know that some actors literally throw off their clothes and jump into the next one, and the dresser helps out with little adjustments.
Well they each have a couple of sets of costumes which need to be prepared between performances, I always assumed that was it, Dollys always comeing in with clothes...
Ugh. Git-r-done is the most recent stupid "catch phrase" that came from Blue Collar TV. (Redneck comedy on Comedy Central.)
Well, I've been a quick-changer multiple times before at local community theaters around here, and (at least in my experience) mostly you hang around with the costume rack and help the actor make his/her changes in time. It sounds weird, but actually, just having someone there holding your shirt to slide in to or able to crouch down and tie shoes while the actor buttons up can save SO SO much time.
I did "Little Me" a couple years back and was in charge of the female lead's attire. She had no less than 2 DOZEN costumes- at least a third of those she had to be in to in less than 30 seconds!

git-r-done is a southern comedy thing. its really rather annoying to tell you the truth.. about the only southern thing i dont like. and i dont even know how southern it is anymore

Annie, "git-r-done" would translate to "Get the job done" basically ... or sort of redneck for "just do it!"

thanks.
Edit: I think I rather choose the cancer foundation instead of this.
