I love that photo from Summer of the Swans! Anybody else have any photos of John doing other shows [other than JB, I mean]?
Erin, that is so awesome! That's so sweet of him to even add in a headshot! I remember how excited I was when I got my card and headshot from him in the mail.
BTW Somebody updated their blog...
That is so sad, I just read it
anyone around?

Yeah, I'm just watching V for Vendetta.
Very sad about John's friend, however.

My neice came over today. She just turned two and she now LOVES the show Fraggle Rock. Every time she now sees my mom (or Nana as she calls her) she say's "Nana, Fraggle Rock?"
When she dose come over to our house, she runs over to where we have the DVDs and she grabs the Fraggle Rock one.

It is really sad about what happened to his friend. I actually started my second letter to JLY today in my free time, but I'm still not sure how to word everything. You think it'd be easier the second time around, LOL.
Oh, and I love that picture that Andrea posted. His hair is so cute in it. :)

*does a little dance* I got mail from John today. ^.^
I got a signed Playbill (as I requested) and another card. It was pretty cool!
The card said...
"Dear Carole Ann -- Thanks for the photos and letter but especially the comic strip. Now I can stay I've starred in one! Yours, JLY"
At first I though he signed the card Jay, but ya know. Common sense. I don't think he'd sign it Jay if his name is JOHN.
Carole, that is so cool. How sweet is he
I sent him my first letter last Wednesday
It is very sad about John's friend. The tribute on his blog is lovely. I thought it was especially touching that he gave some specific detail, which provided insight on Edwin as his friend-mentor, and on who he was as a person overall.

I mailed a card to John today. I love how we all send him mail! LOL.
Christine, I can relate to this. It's funny how easily the words flow when I'm on this thread or elsewhere online. But in other contexts, such as a letter the "old-fashioned way" or a term paper, writing can seem more challenging, even excruciating. I struggled to find the right words, too!
The pictures of Kevin Costner with the JB cast are wonderful. I wonder if JLY was able to talk to Kevin's daughter about attending Brown.

Sorry it took me awhile to say hi back to all of you. I've been super busy. But JLY just made my day this weekend as I got another card back from him... He is super fast. I was sad that JLY was out on September 3 when I saw Jersey Boys for the 3rd time but Michael was fabulous and such a sweetheart.
Thats so sweet aww!!
Yes I love how we send him mail too

I love that film! I thought Anthoy Perkins was great in it. Also, happy almost 18th birthday!

I know! It was a little challenging at first, but I've got it now, I'm hoping to send it out by Thursday at the earliest.
*bump* from page 2.
Has anyone heard from Kathryn the last couple of days?
Christian's blog has another nice tidbit about Kevin Costner's backstage visit. He said that Kevin told the cast that they inspired him to work harder, or "do better work" (I think that's the phrase Christian used).
Daniel is going to be very busy the next few days, with a concert on Friday and a reading on Monday. Not to mention the Flea Market event, shows, etc.
Daniel doing a reading on 9/25
