I'm a little sad today though...Horrible news I got this morning, my Aunt's brother passed away last night. He had a sudden heart attack. He was only 50 years old. I'm not related to him, but to me and my family he was like family. He will be missed He was such a nice guy and so funny!

Hi Lori. I'm sorry to hear that news. Fifty years old is so young to die. I hope your aunt has a lot of support from friends and family--it must be a shock.

Sorry to here that Lori, it's very hard to loose someone. John wrote the note the day before the Flea Market. Hmmmmmmmmm. My mom told me that since it was PRIORITY MAIL, it cost him some money in order to mail that. I showed my firends a picture of him they were "Kristina!" what they mean is that I'm writing to a cutie. My friend Whittney think's Daniel is hot and my friend Alexis is always questioning me about the JERSEY BOYS. It's good that I have friends at school that are starting to get interested in JERSEY BOYS......because of me!

I completely agree with this. He is such a great guy. Kristina, what a fantastic surprise!

I can't believe that we have a Kristina, Christina, and a Christine either! What's next a Kristin, Christy, and Chrissy?

I mailed John a letter on Wed. thanking him for the headshot so i guess he just wnated to surprise me! I wonder what he is going to do next? I hope he gets that letter.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that at my party my friends and I are going to do Kareoke! I found some Frankie Valli and 4 Seasons songs so I'll be singing those songs!

Aw man! I forgot, I won't be here to post on my b.day! Wait a minute, I think i will because last year on my 12th b.day I came to my Oma's house to get something from her sooo if i have time I can post and we can celebrate! I hope that I have time. He is a sweetie isn't he. There is NO-ONE like him & THE BOYS. My friends say that he is an angel, that is a fact not an opinion.

I have some bad news. I'll be leaving pretty soon so I'll here from you girls next weekend...........I hope.

Christina, how cool that you got to see the show tonight. Was it the full original cast who was in?

And Meryl,I read about the closing night of The History Boys. I am sad that it was the last day, but what a memorable experience. I CANNOT wait for the movie, at least!

John updated his blog with the news of his "several-month" extension. Yay, it's official! I love the way he announced it-- so clever. I hope he has a wonderful vacation.

As for the mail I got from John, he signed my SARAH PLAIN and TALL cd liner notes. :)

this toddler is worn out

Toddlers across the country are exhausted from worrying that today was my last performance in JERSEY BOYS. The next time your toddler demands you play "Sherry" for the fifth time in a row, tell her John Lloyd Young is supposed to come back for a several-month extension after a well-deserved two-week vacation, starting tomorrow.

forgot to tell you all this, I am making a myspace layoyt page on the Jersey Boys fan site that I run, I just foound out how to put more the oone picture on paint so now I ca make layouts, they are not the best in the world but they are Jersey Boy.

Kristina - how amazing John sent you that surprise! Is the guy for real? My jaw had to be forced back into place after reading that. He is such a beautiful person, inside and out.

Lori - so sorry to read of your sad news x

Thrilled to hear about John's contract, although he has been very clever in not revealing too much! I'm just desperate to know if he's on board for London. (just incase you guys didnt know?!)

Oh, btw Judy - I totally loved Wicked! I went in not really knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Idina was fabulous - and I can now see what all the fuss is about. She was stunning - even in green. It's been slated by the press here ( no great shock there) but the crowd were going totally wild for it! I havent really experienced a West End show with that much audience excitement. Adam Garcia (had a bit of a soft spot for him anyway lol) was very pleasing on the eye and boy could he dance. Going again in a couple of weeks. Met a female Idina fan who had flown in from New York for the weekend just to see the show. She was like a woman possessed. Fiercely protective over Idina, it was actually quite scary! Thinking about it though, I would probably be the same about John if someone asked me what all the fuss is about with him.
Loved it, but it made me miss JB even more if that makes sense...

Utterly fantastic, the boys will be missed here on Broadway. They're probably prepping for the premiere of the movie as we speak! I actually made it to the stagedoor which was a riot! I was able to meet most of the guys. (still miffed that I couldn't meet Andrew or Russel -.-) They reminded me of the Jersey Boys because they made sure to sign peoples things and take pictures. Not to mention they're very good looking =P

I'm so excited JLY extended his contract! My aunt has tickets in the incoming months and was dissapointed because she thought he was leaving. She's gonna be pretty happy!

I'm at work but shouldn't be on this LOL! Work is driving me nuts for the past week anyway!!!

I feel like an idiot asking this question, but someone said in the JLY contract extension thread that JLY's blog sounded "smary" or something like that. I'm either dumb, but I never heard that word before, unless I'm pronouncing it in my head wrong. Ok, what does the word mean lol???????

Christina, I knowww... the show never drags for a second, plus it's really fast-paced in the beginning [the early years], so it seems short by the time it's over.

Oh, and JLY is not unctuous! I thought his post was really funny. It was a whole lot more interesting than just saying, "I'm extending."
