I handed the photos to my friends and Alexis was shocked, India was freaking out, Whittney's jaw droped, Brittney was like "Oh Yeah!" Melissa was happy ,and Solene gave me two hugs! LOL! She is french just to let you know, she is very nice. But I have to give Alexis the address so that she can thank him for the photo and my friends Autumn and Katie want a photo ,so I'll just have to ask him! We'll wait and see!
Glad you had a nice birthday Kristina!
When did you say you were going to see Jersey Boys December? I think I might be going at that time again too, probably my last time going lol!
I'm not sure when in December ,but I'll notify when I know. Probably after Christmas.

Ah, that sucks. You'll do well though, if you work hard enough, which I'm sure you will.

My friend Autumn wanted me to post this ,but when John reads this ,he is going to laugh! This is what my friend Autumn thinks of John girls. She says that he is "Prettylious" I was like "Autumn?" But she is right!
I'm registering for talkin'broadway.com as we well.......post! LOL.
Never mind. It didn't work! grrrrrrr! Ugh!
I'm off to bed! Here from you all tomorrow morning!
Hey girls! Like I said I'm here for the whole weekend. Just surfing BWW.com
Aw, did anyone notice this blog entry about the baby on Christian's site?:
It's A Girl!
Melissa and I were blessed with a baby girl! Elizabeth Christine joins the other beautiful Hoff-Springs: Erika Kathryn and Elias Anders, Seven and Eleven years old. Welcome Miss Elizabeth!
Christian
I think it's adorable how he refers to his kids as the "Hoff-springs".
Erin, I just took the SAT's this morning too. They're so DRAINING, especially that early in the morning! I can never finish the math sections in time either. Hope it wasn't too horrible for you.
I did read it. I thought it was very sweet. I just can't wait until we all see a picture of the baby! I can't until I see Dylan Cade in November. I just love babies! LOL.
Oh yeah about what I got from John ,you know the photos for my friends, the stamps on the envelope were Super Girl and Wonder Woman!
I updated my BLOG again! LOL.
Hope you girls are having a good evening. I'm having pork chops and fried potatoes for dinner! Yummy.
Where is everyone?

Rachel- I did so bad on the SATs when I took them back in April. I think I did better this time around. But I ran out of time on so many sections. I hope my essay is better than the last time. I don't understaind why the test is on a Saturday morning it's really stupid how about at 10:00am and not 8 am? At least you will be awake enough.
But as I said before most of the schools I'm looking at want good grades more than good SAT scores so I think I will be okay.
I have a list of roles John could play and they are the perfect roles for him to play. What do you think?
1.Danny - Grease
2.Mark - RENT
3.Seymor - Little Shop of Horrors
4.Boq - WICKED
5.Feiyro - WICKED
6.Link - Hairspray
7.Sid - The Pajama Game
8.Tobias - Sweeney Todd
9.Che - Evita
10.Marius - Les Miserables
Hey Kristina! I'm a little late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Other roles for John is a great topic. He's currently playing an unbelievably *difficult* acting, singing and dancing role in Frankie Valli, in a phenomenal show.
I would love for John's next project to be a completely new role and just as challenging. :) He's an exceptional actor, with presence yet subtlety at the same time. I could see him doing a less mainstream but artistically rewarding/creative show Off-Broadway, or in a straight play.
And he'd be fantastic in a character-driven TV drama, or in movies.
All of that being said, for that upcoming Broadway Unplugged thing, though--if he sang well-known songs from the shows you mention, that might be very cool. Imagine him singing a duet like Suddenly Seymour in LSOH? Or Not While I'm Around from Sweeney Todd?
I recently heard Harry Connick Jr. sing Younger than Springtime in a South Pacific made-for-TV remake starring Glenn Close. (Tennesee Twang, if you're out there--there's another Glenn Close mention in this thread). Truthfully I didn't like the movie at all. I loved Harry, though, and I love that song--but I could imagine John singing it and sounding beautiful.
Again, fantastic topic, Kristina, and I would love to hear what others suggest!
Judy
*Not to get too OT, but although we know Aaron Lazar is going to be in Les Mis in a different role than Marius--I'd love to hear Aaron sing Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.

YAY Aaron! He is my third broadway husband. I hope to see him in Les Miz. If they don't do a cast recording of the show I will cry.

I'd really like to see him in as Danny in Grease. It's not the best musical ever, but it's entertaining and I've loved it since I was little. I think my heart would skip a big beat if he were to ever do it.
Hey girls! I'm glad you liked the roles I picked for John. I'm thinking of some others ,but I need your help. Try to come up with some.
Well, when John was auditioning for JERSEY BOYS, he got Tommy DeVito for his first audition. But when he started to read 3 lines in Des said "Put that away and go out and read Frankie." But he did that to Daniel too.
I think so Christina ,but isn't he suppose to do the actors fund benifet tomorrow? It's at the August Wilson and the JERSEY BOYS are suppose to do the opening number so I don't know.
I found a calendar with JERSEY BOYS performances and the time those performances starts. Here are some dates Shannon found online in the December calendar. All I have to do is ask John if he'll be in ANY of these performances. OK here are the dates and times for JERSEY BOYS after Christmas,
December 27 at 8:00 p.m.
December 28
28 >ALL 3 shows 28, 29 ,and 30 are at 8:00 p.m.
30 - also at 2:00 p.m.
And December 31 at 3:00 p.m.
I hope some of you girls can get tickets too. I can't wait!
I think you're right.
Happy, Happy birthday to Micheal Longoria!
Oh yeah, I made my new avatar. What do you think?
I just now downloaded my JERSEY BOYS CD onto my Grandma's computer! So now I'm listening to it!

i just want to say that john lloyd young is amazing. that's all. kbye.
I have another role John can play! Leo Bloom - The Producers. And I shall play Ulla! LOL. Just kidding. But I do a good job singing, acting ,and dancing like her! My features are the reason why my friends want me to be her for halloween. But I'm just sticking to the JERSEY stuff.
Bye girls!
Hey shootinstr11! Always happy to see new posters on the thread.
I am really excited about John's return to the show this week. Like Kristina mentioned, there are some upcoming JB events so I hope we get some new pictures, etc. Not to mention reviews from the show itself!
And John is a guest at a NJ theatre gala as well.
Speaking of other roles for John--which role did he play during the workshop (reading?) of Spring Awakening years ago?
Ugh, I am sick with a cold. It's awful.

I believe John did the actual play, if that's what you're talking about. He played the role of Moritz, Melchior's friend. Speaking of Spring Awakening, I'm really excited for the Broadway transfer! I'm in love with Jonathan Groff (and John) I saw the music video over at Broadway.com and it's really awesome. Can't wait to catch it when it opens in December!
Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. I'm soooo busy with school and the works.
