Hey shootinstr11! Always happy to see new posters on the thread.

I am really excited about John's return to the show this week. Like Kristina mentioned, there are some upcoming JB events so I hope we get some new pictures, etc. Not to mention reviews from the show itself!

And John is a guest at a NJ theatre gala as well.

Speaking of other roles for John--which role did he play during the workshop (reading?) of Spring Awakening years ago?

Ugh, I am sick with a cold. It's awful.

I believe John did the actual play, if that's what you're talking about. He played the role of Moritz, Melchior's friend. Speaking of Spring Awakening, I'm really excited for the Broadway transfer! I'm in love with Jonathan Groff (and John) I saw the music video over at Broadway.com and it's really awesome. Can't wait to catch it when it opens in December!

Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. I'm soooo busy with school and the works.

I think my friend and I are going up in the beginning of Decemeber to see Tarzan and possibly Jersey Boys again

I know he has that event gala thing up in North Jersey this Thursday. That is pretty neat for him.

We're all so greedy for pictures! I love when we get new pictures, though. I love the pictures we got of Daniel at Ars Nova... the pictures with Dominic [my 2nd Frankie!] are my favorites.

Yeah, and I'm crazy busy with school, too...

Meryl, thanks for the info! That is what I meant. I don't really know much about SPRING AWAKENING, so I should look it up. :)

Lori, thanks for the get-well-wishes! You were sick not too long ago, too. Everyone around me has some kind of bug.I've been taking meds and drinking orange juice.

I probably should be sleeping now but I just found the article linked below. Some more info on the event JLY is attending this week, courtesy of the NJ Daily Record. I hope we get to hear more about it, maybe via John's blog.

kai, if Dominic is your second Frankie,does that mean you haven't seen John in the role yet? You saw Michael over the summer, if I'm remembering correctly....

Yay, I'm glad John is back and that he got some good rest! :)

From a JB standpoint, there was a lot of activity occurring while he was gone--newborns, cast birthdays, special performances, etc.

The pictures on Broadway.com of Daniel and Titus et. al from The Wiz opening are precious!

I'm back! Well, just for a little while. I'm here because some of my family is here and Jenny is bringing the baby! I'm so excited!

Tomorrow I'm bringing my 4 Seasons Anthology cd so that my science teacher can 'let the good times role back' LOL.

Hope you did well on your PSAT Christina. I hated that test. I don't have a vaction untill Thanksgiving and then when I get back it finals.

It's great that John is back in the show. Hopfully I will be seeing the show in about two weeks.

Change of plan. Jenny and her friend had to feed the baby and when they left to go where they had left off, they took the wrong Exit and were starting to head back to Alabama. Jen's an idiot sometimes! lol. so I'll see the baby tomorrow. *starts to laugh her head off*

Anyway I was watching Lost last night and I was thinking how great John would be on the show. Any one else agree with me?

John would be amazing on Lost. I also think it's character-driven enough to serve his talents well.

I could also see him on more of a straightforward relationship-esque drama (Is ABC's new "Brothers and Sisters" like that?) but those don't tend to last as long or capture the audience as a kind of hybrid drama like Lost does.

I agree about this thread being really quiet! Has anyone heard from Kathryn?

Last night's episode was so good. I liked it mostly because Boone was in it for a little bit and he's really hot so that made me happy.

Wonder if he will be back for a few more episodes this season because it would be great if he was.

I don't like Jack on the show and I also don't like Kate. They are just so boring. Mr. Eko is the best one on the show along with Sun and Claire.

How about John playing one of the "others"? They seem to be the most intersting ones of the show.

I think John would be good on Lost, especially as one of the "others".

In totally random news, tonight I was lucky enough to go to a Susan Egan concert and meet her afterwards. She's so sweet and she's got an amzaing voice.

But back to JLY/JB. It's great to hear that John had a great time on vacation. I bet he missed all of the crappy weather. Lucky him. :-P

Hey girls! I'm back for a little while. I finally saw the baby, he is so cute!

I have a few more roles John could play.
Cornieleus Hackle - Hello Dolly!
Barnabe Tucker - Hello Dolly!
Ambrous - Hello Dolly!

The reason why I chose those roles is because in one scene the boys are being taught how to dance ,and since John is not really a dancer, it would be so funny seeing him trying to dance!

Does any of you girls notice that Christian names his kids with names that begin with the letter "E" I mean Elias, Erica ,and Elizabeth. Isn't that so cool! I wonder why he does that?

Glad you were able to see the baby yesterday Kristina. My neice, who is two came over last night and saw Fraggle Rock (her favorite show). Thanks to her weekly vists I now have the Fraggle Rock theme song stuck in my head all the time now.

One of these days I'm going to put on the Jesery Boys cast recording again so she can dance to it. She's loved it whenever I put it on.

I got some good news and some bad news. The good news is today I got a letter from John and it says this,

Dear Kristina,
How polite of you to send a thank you note. I'm glad you liked the gifts. Tell Shannon that yes, I plan to be at JERSEY BOYS during Christmas time.

The bad news is that ALL the tickets for JERSEY BOYS in December are sold out. I'm VERY, VERY upset. So I'm writing to John today and I'm gonna tell him the bad news. Girls I need a mircale. I mean I'm going up to NJ and what am I going to do when I'm up there? I can't see a show ,so I guess that Student Rush won't help. But I'm gonna pray every night like always. I prayed for JERSEY BOYS ticktes' before but I guess that won't help. *sighs* I'm holding back my tears. I always have good luck, then I end up having bad luck also. Wish me luck girls, please? *sniff sniff*

Oh yeah my new signature is true. No wonder I can't get the tickets. And yes I do have a LOW self-asteam

I'm stupid.

I forgot to mention this. My mom says that when John reads the letter he will get me 3 tickets. I was like "Mom, I don't think so." But I'll have to "just wait and see." I'm still VERY sad. I mean I'm so sad that I didn't eat my lunch and I'm ALWAYS hungry! I'm not hungry at all! I need to see a doctor.

Shannon just told me that we will see JERSEY BOYS during Spring Break. John will be long gone. I'll just wait until they announce when the show performs in Atlanta.

I'll be leaving pretty soon ,so Bye girls. You noticed that I didn't put a "!" you all probably know why. *sighs*

Thats too bad about you not being able to get tickets for Jersey Boys Kristina. However you could always do SRO for the show. You will be stainding the whole time but it's better than nothing.

Jen Naimo updated her blog about the BC/EFA campaign: I'm really curious about the show buttons and the possibility of getting a signed poster. Is a "show slogan" the same thing as the show's logo, or would that be buttons with phrases from the show?

In between shows Wednesday our stage mgrs Michelle and Michael nourished us with tons of italian food from Luigi’s as we signed over 400 posters for the upcoming Bway Cares Equity Fights AIds campaign starting this weekend. For 6 weeks all the Bway shows ask the patrons to contribute whatever they can to help fight aids, care for those men, women and children afflicted with aids, and also to support and fund the fight against breast cancer. WE will be selling buttons with show slogans on them and the signed posters..and the 4 boys will be doing special signings and photos also after the show to help raise money.
