Hey guys... I got to see the show in SF yesterday, OPENING NIGHT. It was just as amazing as the first time.
I was walking out of Starbucks [right across from the theatre] before the show and saw Deven May again. He's so nice. He recognized me and we talked for a bit before I went back to standing in line. I saw Erich walk by and also Michael Ingersoll. Michael looked over and I waved. He recognized me from last time and waved back and smiled.
After bows, the Original Four Seasons came on stage with the cast. It was really cool. I had seen Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio in the audience earlier.
After the show I talked to all the guys again. I told Erich how I loved seeing him in the Pizza Hut ads and he laughed. While Christopher Kale Jones was talking to a group of people, he saw me and gave me this "hey, I know you from before" look for a second. It was really cute. I talked to him and he asked if it was my second time. I'm seeing the show too often... I'm goanna wait a while till I see it again haha...
But, yeah, the guys are great and if you have the chance: see the show! [Although I know everybody in this thread would see it if they had the chance]
Kali, thats great you saw it again! so glad you enjoyed it!!!
Here is a picture of John and Alison from the premiere of Spring Awakening! Such a cute picture of them
Lori>How was Blood Diamond?...speaking of Leo D. Titanic was on AGAIN today!lol
HE LOOK SOOOOO GOOD IN THAT MOVIE LOL! The movie itslef was very good. It is based on actual events that happenned in Sierra Leone in 1999, I had to cover my eyes a little bit with some killing going on. In case you don't know what its about here is a synopis of it from MSN.COM:
A South African mercenary and a Mende fisherman find their fates forever intertwined as they embark on a quest to obtain a rare and highly coveted pink diamond in director Edward Zwick's frantic adventure drama. Ripped from his family farm and forced to toil away in the sweltering South African diamond fields, Solomon Vandy (Djimon Hounsou) discovered an extraordinary rough stone of immeasurable value. Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a hired gun who specializes in the sale of so-called "blood diamonds" that are used to finance rebellions and terrorist organizations, and is currently serving time for smuggling. As a bloody civil war rages in Sierra Leone and Archer learns that Vandy has safely hidden the diamond in a place where no one would ever suspect, the pair enlist the aid of disillusioned American journalist Maddy Bowen (Jennifer Connelly) in recovering the treasure that has the power to save Vandy's family and provide the desperate Archer with a much-needed chance for redemption. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
Wow, haven't posted here in a little while! Anyone else get a "Season's Greetings" JB card from John? It was a nice surprise in the mail today, especially since I just got the signed snapshot in the mail Friday for my donation to BC/EFA.
Aww awesome! I think I'm sending him a Christmas card anyway LOL!
Glad you had such a great time at the show, (again) kai!
Oh, and I just went back and looked at the card again and realized that it says "Seasons" Greetings. Haha, I must have been too excited to notice the quotation marks around "seasons". Very cute (even though I'll admit, I stared at it for about 10 seconds before I actually got the little pun...yeah, really long day ). And the design on the front is very pretty, too!

I love all the pictures of John and Alison from the opening of Spring Awakening. Has anyone here seen it yet? After the reviwes and what people on the main board have said about the show I want to see it now. Maybe I'll try student rush when I'm back in the city if it isn't that crazy.

Just found this picture on Broadway.com from High Fidelity's opening night...so sad to hear that it's closing so soon. The cast is so talented, and I actually had a great time when I saw it in Boston. Ah well, hopefully we'll be seeing everyone back on B'way soon, especially Will Chase . Anyway, here's the picture (edit to add...I guess the picture that was next to it automatically shows up too...sorry bout that, heh. :o)):
Two very talented guys in one picture!

I love that picture of Will and John.
Will Chase is one of my favorite actors ever. (as is John)

About High Fidelity- it's always sad when a show closes so early. The cast was excited for the opening and then they're hit with the news that they're closing.
I also think Will Chase is very talented. He'll find his show...

Emily- I hope you have fun at the show. Make sure to tell us everything about it.
Mollie-I wouldn't worry yet. Especially since you just sent it out Saturday, I'm guessing that John didn't get it till at least Monday or Tuesday. I would expect it back sometime next week, probably. He's always really good with writing back quickly.
